“Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I’m doing ok!” Gabby shared on Instagram on Tuesday (August 30). “I had a complication from a prior injury that caused a cyst to grow on a bone in my mouth. Got it removed and feeling much better now!”
She added, “Thanks for all your concerns and prayers ???? and HUGE thank you to the doctors that have taken care of me these last four days! #ontheroadtorecovery #butIstillgottagetthesewisdomteethout.”
“She had an allergic reaction, but she’s doing okay,” Alyrevealed. “Something was a little swollen on her face. They’re having her rest, just in case.”
Laurie added, “It’s a little bit swollen, but we hope she can get better soon because we wish she could be here with us.”
“She definitely wanted to be here,” Madison shared.
Earlier in the night, Gabby shared a pic from her room where she was resting after her hospital stay.

JJJ isn’t sure what happened that Gabby had to be in the hospital for — but we’re hoping she feels better soon! We’ll miss you Gabby!
The following day, Gabby stopped by SiriusXM Studios to chatted with Hoda Kotb. She recently opened up about her Olympics experience in spite of social media backlash.
“I had fun. Maybe people weren’t being fair on social media, but that’s social media for you. I just found things to be positive about. And there’s a lot to be happy about. We won the gold medal as a team, and it was just such an amazing experience. I came to the Olympics and won a gold medal! That’s still really awesome. I can only do what I can do, and if people want to say their stuff on social media, I can’t stop them,” she explained to People.
The Final Five looks excited to be standing on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage during an appearance on Tuesday (August 23) in New York City.
On the way back to the US, Aly took to her Instagram to share a funny photo of Simone sleeping on the plane.
“Miss @simonebiles fell asleep before we took off. WHO’S THE GRANDMA NOW GUYS,” Aly jokingly captioned the image, as Simone had been calling her the grandma of the group!
