Maisie Williams looks stunning on the front of S/ magazine’s Spring 2019 edition, available in Canada on April 2!
Here’s what the Game of Thrones star had to say to the outlet:
On the final season of Game of Thrones: “This whole season was really, really emotional. When I came to shoot my final scene, I had already watched a lot of people wrap and seen all the tears and heard all the speeches. It was just a really beautiful day, and a really great final scene for me. It felt like the right time to say goodbye to Arya.”
On her Game of Thrones co-stars: “The calibre of actors I’ve been able to work with on the show has been such a high standard. It’s not every day you get to work with actors like that, and I was surrounded by them from such a young age. It’s just been so beneficial to me. Everything that I do and everything that I’ve learned is from watching people.”
On her special bond withLena Headey: “Lena has always treated me like a young adult. Even when I was a kid, she never treated me as one, she just always respected me.”
On her social networking app Daisie, which aims to fight nepotism within the arts and entertainment industries: “There’s huge injustice in the industry; it’s very hard to break in. There are so many people who are at the top of their game, who probably graduated from a really expensive school, or who have very successful parents. I truly believe that this is something that can help people. We really poured our heart and soul into the company.”
While many have believed that Sophie‘s new tattoo – a direwolf with the quote, “The pack survives” – is a spoiler for the last season of the HBO series, Sophie says it definitely is not.
“People were mad and crazy because they thought you were giving away the final spoiler to the final season,” host James Corden said, to which Sophie replied, “When I was getting it done, people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away. But I wasn’t! It’s just a quote from last season, but everyone figures that the pack really does survive.”
“It’s just a moral that I like to live by,” she explained.
Sophie also showed off her rap skills by rapping along to Eminem‘s “The Real Slim Shady.”

“I haven’t seen it yet!” the 26-year-old Grammy winner told Entertainment Tonight. “I just know the scene I did, I did with Maisie, and it’s decent. I like it. Nothing exciting happens in this scene, we just have a conversation and that’s kind of it.”
A conversation is still something, Ed!
Still, the singer continued, the picture of humility, to say that his cameo has been built up “too much.”
“People will just be like, ‘Oh… oh, all right,’” he laughed. “It’s not an integral part of it, at all. I’m just like, in it.”
Whatever you say, Ed. We’ll still be watching — because if it’s anything like your songs, we have a feeling you tend to undersell yourself just a ~little~ bit.
The 26-year-old singer revealed who his scene is with!
“I just do a scene with Maisie [Williams, who plays Arya Stark],” Ed told Hits Radio. “I sing a song and then she goes: ‘Oh, that’s a nice song.’”
“Game of Thrones, yeah. I feel like every time I say something about that it’s like ‘international news! Ed reveals all!’” Ed also recently joked on The Capital Breakfast Show. “I didn’t reveal anything, I just said that, like, I sing in it. And then they’re like ‘spoiler alert!’”
“It was cool. It was, erm, it’s not a big scene,” Ed said. “I feel like people have made a big deal about it and when it comes on they’ll go ‘oh he doesn’t die…’”
He added, “Yeah, I did ask, I did ask if I could get killed off. I did it on the day, and they were like ‘no. Because the script’s written.’”
