Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome have just welcomed a new bundle of joy into their lives!
The 31-year-old Harry Potter actor and the 28-year-old Double Date star welcomed their first child, a baby girl, People reported on Thursday (May 7).

“Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time,” a representative told the publication in a statement.
The two first confirmed that they were expecting a child back in April as Georgia was seen showing off her baby bump on a shopping run.

“Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time,” a publicist for the couple confirmed to Just Jared.
Rupert and Georgia have been dating since 2011, and have largely been private about their relationship.

Rupert Grint and his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome are still going strong!
The 30-year-old actor, who you know for playing Ron in the Harry Potter movies, was spotted shopping with Georgia on Thursday (September 20) in New York City.
The couple has been together, on-and-off, since 2011.
The second season of Rupert‘s Crackle series Snatch just premiered.
“I’m really enjoying it,” Rupert told Fox News. “It’s quite fun. I think Potter ended at kind of the right time, as much as I loved it… I was just very ready to explore new characters, I think.”
“I love that particularly in TV… you have the time to really carve out [your character]. Really get to know your character throughout a series. That’s something that’s really exciting to me at the moment,” he added.

The longtime couple joined some friends for the day out while celebrating the launch of Derren Brown‘s Ghost Train ride.
“Childhood dreams came true last night. We stayed in Thorpe park until 11 and got on every ride in two minutes,” Georgia wrote on Twitter afterwards.
She added, “The new @DerrenBrown ride is bloody brilliant. Takes immersive rides to a whole new level!”
