The Disney Channel original movie scored 8.4 million viewers, which is more than High School Musical‘s 7.7 million from it’s January 2006 premiere.

The musical stars Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell as Brady and Mack who catch a wave straight into Brady’s favorite movie musical, Wet Side Story.

Ross Lynch and JJ founder Jared Eng hang out with a just a few of their favorite pool toys in this behind-the-scenes shot from his JJJ Portrait Session.

Shot at a private residence in Los Angeles, JJJ got together with three of Teen Beach Movie’s stars — Ross, Garrett Clayton and Grace Phipps — for a fun day of photo-shooting and we can’t wait to reveal the final shots.

Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell watch Frankie Avalon dance on stage on The View in New York City on Wednesday morning (July 17).

The Teen Beach Movie stars — joined by Garrett Clayton and Grace Phipps — chatted with Frankie about bringing back the beach party movies with Disney.

“Fifty years ago we did our first beach party movie,” Frankie shared on the program. “I think it’s going to be absolutely sensational. You’re great looking kids, you’re fun, you’re musical and I think it’s going to be terrific.”

Just the night before, the cast of TBM stopped by Newsies on Broadway.

“Accidentally dressed as a newsie at Newsies,” Maia tweeted.

Jean-Luc Bilodeau and Chelsea Kane make funny faces for baby Emma in this new still from Baby Daddy.

In tonight’s episode “Never Ben in Love,” Riley (Kane) plans to break up with Fitch (Matt Dallas), but then receives the news that Fitch is dead. She meets Fitch’s dad, Winston Douglas (Diedrich Bader), who asks her to deliver the eulogy at the funeral and tells Riley that Fitch planned to propose to her.

Meanwhile, Ben (Bilodeau) realizes he might be in love with Megan (Grace Phipps), but she thinks things are moving way too fast. Tucker (Tahj Mowry) embarks on his “Tucket” list of things to do before he dies, and Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) schemes to catch the eye of Fitch’s wealthy dad.

The cast — Kent Boyd, Jordan Fisher, Mollee Gray, Garrett Clayton, Grace Phipps, Maia Mitchell, Ross Lynch, Chrissie Fit, and John DeLuca — got back into character for the pics and performance on Good Morning America.
