The 16-year-old singer and actress posted a series of videos and a photo from the set of her Disney+ original movie on Instagram on Saturday (March 28).

Grace Vanderwaal says filming a movie was a whole new experience for her!

The 16-year-old musician and actress recently revealed what surprised her about being on the set of Stargirl and it had to do with the accommodations!

“It was amazing! There was like a bunch of catering, there was food! There was places to stay. Everyone got their own trailers. There were places to chill. It was incredible,” Grace said on Good Morning America.

She jokingly added, “I’m ready to be an actress…maybe, maybe. Only for the food.”

The 16-year-old singer performs the track – along with an acoustic version – in her new Disney+ original film.

Grace VanderWaal is opening up about what makes Stargirl so relatable.

The 16-year-old singer got candid in a new interview with Teen Vogue.

“I like how humanized Stargirl is in the movie,” Grace said. “I think she’s a little more fairytale feeling in the book, and the movie displays her mistakes and how she isn’t perfect. Even if you’re someone as cool and admirable as Stargirl, you’re still going to make stupid mistakes and you’re still going to have to learn from them.”

She continued, “The movie also explains how everything in life has consequences, even the things that you may think are good.”

“A lot of high school movies, it’s like 20-year-olds playing [young],” Grace added. “But I like that [Stargirl didn’t do that] because I think a lot of kids look at these 20-year-olds who are supposed to be 16 and then wonder why they don’t look like that. And it’s because you’re not 20. I think it’s really good for children to see someone their age who looks [their age]. Same for the [male actors] too, it’s not just girls. Boys are looking at these grown men who are fully developed. Leo is a little scrawny, he’s a teenager.”

Grace VanderWaal celebrated the release of Stargirl with a beautiful performance!

The 16-year-old entertainer took the stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday evening (March 11) in Los Angeles.

Grace performed her original song from “Today and Tomorrow” from the film’s soundtrack, which serves as the end-credit track.

“in celebration of Stargirl coming out tomorrow ❤️ please enjoy my performance on jimmy kimmel last night <3 @jimmykimmellive," Grace wrote on her Instagram.

Grace VanderWaal literally sparkles at the premiere of her new movie Stargirl held at the El Capitan Theatre on Tuesday (March 10) in Hollywood.

The 16-year-old star of the movie posed for cute photos with her love interest in the film Graham Verchere.

Also in attendance at the premiere were their co-stars Karan Brar, Darby Stanchfield, Giancarlo Esposito, Juliocesar Chavez, Enzo De Angelis, and Annacheska Brown.

The 16-year-old singer shared her original track – from the Disney+ original movie Stargirl – with fans on Friday (March 5).

“Today and Tomorrow” is the end-credit title track and will also be included on the soundtrack.

“And I’ll catch you / Fallin’ into me, fallin’ into you,” she sings. “Lettin’ go of all the things I thought were true.”

Grace will also be making her acting debut in the film.

“‘Today and Tomorrow’ was inspired while I was filming the movie,” Grace said. “I wanted to capture the essence of being Stargirl and how it felt to play her. My producer, Ido, and I wanted to keep it as raw and natural as possible to let people hear the magic in the studio when the song was written.”
