The Dolan Twins just started a new survival series!
The guys – Ethan and Grayson – headed into the Australian wild with no food, water, or even shoes. All they had were a couple of supplies, the clothes they were wearing, and an Australian survival expert.
“This series is insane and I’m proud of myself for somehow managing to be a part of it,” Ethan teased on Twitter over the weekend, adding, “not chill to film AT ALL.”
“It is by far one of the most intense and exciting things that we’ve ever filmed,” Graysonshared a few days before.
“I still can’t believe we did this and are also still alive,” he added. “Thumbs up for our camera guys bc they have to do everything we do.”
It’s December and that means Movember, we mean, November, is officially over and the beards that many men have been growing out are going to be leaving.
Grayson and Ethan Dolan were two guys who tried out the movement, and showed off how their beards looked before the new month arrived.
“It’s December 1st and those 2 patches still haven’t grown in… the beard as been fun tho I guess,” Grayson captioned, snapping a mirror selfie with his twin.
If you didn’t know, Movember was established to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as Anxiety, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.
You may have noticed that after the Dolan Twins uploaded their last video with Shane Dawson, they disappeared from the internet for a week, and there’s a reason!
Ethan and Grayson Dolan took a week off from using their phones right after they uploaded their video, living completely off the grid and out of touch with their devices.
While on their break, the twins took a trip to Hawaii and enjoyed their time without having to be stressed or worried about any numbers or social media. On their trip, they took disposable cameras and film rolls for their film camera to be able to document their trip and have keepsake memories.
“I feel so cleansed. I went a week without my phone and I never thought that I’d be able to do that,” Ethan said.
“This was so refreshing. It was literally drinking a cold cup of water, but for my soul,” Grayson added.
After they got their phones back, Ethan and Grayson were blown away by the views and support they received on their last video.
The Dolan Twins are stepping away from YouTube – for now!
The 19-year-old twins sat down with Shane Dawson to talk about needing a break from the grueling schedule of uploading videos every week, and needing time to actually enjoy life.
Ethan and Grayson talked about the passing of their father earlier this year, wanting to spend more time with their mom, and how their heart isn’t always in the videos they make.
“Tomorrow is going to be a really important day in me and E’s lives. I’m kinda nervous but I’m also very excited. Thank you all so much for the extra love this past week 😭 I love you guys the most ♥️,” Grayson wrote on Twitter before the video was released.
The Dolan Twins have vowed to only make content they care about from now on, which means they won’t be uploading videos every Tuesday anymore. To commemorate their Tuesday schedule, the guys each got special tattoos. They also demolished their filming set in their house!
Ethan and Grayson Dolan are getting help for a “very personal and important” new YouTube video.
The Dolan twins have enlisted Shane Dawson to help have the conversation about the topic, which will be shared next week (October 9).
While no subject has been revealed, or very many details, it’s likely it will be a heavy conversation, given Shane‘s more recent videos.
“Filmed something very personal and important to us. A message we’ve been wanting to share with you for a while now. Thank you so much @shanedawson for having this conversation with us, you truly helped us so much ❤️,” Ethan wrote on Twitter with photos from their sit down.
“Hey… There won’t be a new video up tomorrow. Ethan and I want to take our time with this one. It’s a really important video for us. We also want to thank @shanedawson so much for helping us and having this conversation with us that we will share with you next week ♥️,” Grayson added on his account.

The twin YouTubers got in full drag and turned into Jeffree Star lookalikes.
“I was really nervous before filming but I can honestly say it was one of the most INSANE experiences that I’ve ever had and I’m really glad we did this :)” Graysontweeted.
“Hooooooolllllyyyyy sh-t, filming this was insane…” Ethan shared on his Twitter.
Not only did the twins physically transform, but they had to eat like Jeffree and do things throughout the day that Jeffree would do. In addition, Jeffree made a transformation into a third Dolan sibling – Jeff Dolan.
