Fans are dying to know if Lalaine Vergara-Paras will be reprising her role as Lizzie’s BFF Miranda Sanchez – and so are we!
While there’s been no official announcement yet, Hilary was recently asked if there’s anyone else returning to the cast.
Hilary stayed pretty tight lipped, responding, “I can’t tell you that!” but her tone of voice definitely sounds like she’s got something up her sleeve.
Make sure to check out the entire clip of Hilary on TMZ!
Other characters that could potentially make a return include Kate Sanders and Ethan Craft.
The Lizzie McGuire reboot is looking even better now – Adam Lamberg is set to reprise his role as Gordo in the Disney+ series.
If you don’t know Gordo was Lizzie’s best friend, whose intelligence, creativity and wry observations about middle school life made him a bit of an outcast – except to his inner circle of friends.
“Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle to what made the original ‘Lizzie McGuire’ so authentic and beloved,” star and EP Hilary Duff shared about Adam‘s return. “I couldn’t imagine the series without him. I can’t wait for fans to see what he’s up to 15 years later and how he fits into Lizzie’s adult world.”
The new series picks up as Lizzie is just about to turn 30. She seemingly has it all – her dream job as an assistant to a fancy New York City Interior Designer, her dream guy and a picturesque Brooklyn apartment – but things aren’t always as they seem.
With a little help from her old friends and some new ones to come, her well-meaning family and her 13-year-old alter-ego in animated form, Lizzie navigates the ups and downs of adulthood.
“The outpouring of love from our friends and family who showed up for us today and threw us the most epic and beautiful engagement party we could have ever asked for was truly incredible,” Lea wrote on her Instagram. “Z and I love you all and are forever grateful…❤️”
LaurDIY just saw Hilary Duff in person, and she had the greatest reaction ever.
The digital influencer – who just launched an adorable new sleepwear collection – took to Twitter on Saturday (May 12) to share her thoughts with fans.
“I just saw @HilaryDuff and can confirm she is 110% just as hot (if not hotter) than when she sang with Paolo in Rome,” Lauren wrote.
Lauren is, of course, referring to the iconic scene in Hilary‘s Lizzie McGuire Movie (which we’re most definitely about to go re-watch.)

The “Remember I Told You” crooner both “liked” and commented on the Younger star’s recent Instagram photo, in which she looks stunning while posing in the pool next to her drink.
Younger star Hilary Duff has come so far as an actress, transitioning from playing an awkward, self-conscious teenager to a bold and ambitious career-woman, but she will never leave her Disney roots completely behind.
In a new truth-or-dare video she filmed with Sutton Foster for Buzzfeed, Hilary performs a series of dares, and for one of them, she has to recreate her signature imaginary Mickey Mouse ears like she did on Disney channel so many times.
Hilary draws the mouse ears with a resigned face, smiling and posing afterwards.
“Did I nail it or should I try it again?” she jokes as Sutton laughs beside her.
We can almost imagine her saying, “This is Hilary Duff, and you’re watching Disney channel,” and though she doesn’t remember it fondly, we are loving the hilarious boost of nostalgia.
Let’s be real: Disney Channel Original movies are and always will be the BEST. They often have the best casts (hello, Dove Cameron, Sabrina Carpenter, Hilary Duff…), the most infectious songs, and, if we’re lucky, a choreographed dance number that we end up teaching ourselves.
While we ranked our top ten, we would like to throw out some honorable mentions to Get a Clue, The Even Stevens Movie, Smart House, Twitches and Adventures in Babysitting.
