The upcoming Knuckles spinoff series is kicking off production!
Billed as being part of the “Cinematic World of Sonic the Hedgehog,” the upcoming live-action series will take place between the events of last year’s Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and the upcoming Sonic The Hedghog 3.
As production gets underway for the series, Paramount+ has just revealed all of the stars joining the cast.
Leah Sava Jeffries and Iyana Halley look gorgeous on the carpet at the premiere of their new film Beast held at Museum of Modern Art on Monday evening (August 8) in New York City.
The young actress took a break from filming Percy Jackson and the Olympians to join her on-screen sister at the event.
Also in attendance was their on-screen dad Idris Elba, with his wife Sabrina and daughter Isan, as well as Sharlto Copley, director Baltasar Kormakur, writer Ryan Engle and EP Jaime Primak Sullivan.
“Last Night I had such a great time – EPIC EVENING – feeling blessed celebrating all the hard work!!! Beast Movie World Premier NYC!!!” Leah shared on Instagram the next morning.
“This is MY moment. I waited all my life. I can tell it’s time. 🙌🏾” Iyana said on her page. “BEAST movie premiere. WOW! Dreams do come true. I had the best time ever.”
The movie will debut in just over a month and the final trailer has dropped.
Here’s a synopsis: After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

It was just announced on Tuesday (February 15) that a third movie has already been greenlit, plus a TV series is in the works, ViacomCBS announced during it’s investor day presentation, via Variety.
