Instagram is continuing to be one of the best platforms out there right now.
Today, the social network launched a warning system to combat animal abuse and illegal wildlife trafficking.
If you hop on the platform and just want to see a ton of Koala pics, or Sloths, or even Alligators, you can — but before you see them, you’ll see a little warning message that notifies you about the possible abuse of endangered animals associated with these photos.
The warning system also says that you are possibly “searching for a hashtag that may be associated with posts that encourage harmful behavior to animals or the environment.”
There are three options when the warning comes up – Cancel, Show Posts or Learn More.
If you choose “Learn More”, you’ll get a ton of information regarding the exploitation of wildlife for human enjoyment. Instagram will also give the same announcements for hashtags advertising exotic animals for sale.
Emily Cain, a spokeswoman for Instagram, explains that Instagram cares deeply about the welfare of animals and that responsible interactions with wildlife are part of the platform’s values.
“I think it’s important for the community right now to be more aware. We’re trying to do our part to educate them.”
Instagram has revealed another top 10 list from their year in review and spotlighted the Top 10 most buzzed about television shows on the platform.
The number one spot, to no one’s surprise, went to Game of Thrones, with Shameless following in the #2 spot.
Teen Wolf, Spongebob Squarepants, 13 Reasons Why and Pretty Little Liars sit pretty right in the middle at #3-#6.
Rick and Morty, Twin Peaks, Orange is the New Black and Once Upon a Time complete the list.

Selena Gomez reigned surpreme as our Instagram queen for 2017.
The 25-year-old “Wolves” singer has five of the top 10 most liked photos on Instagram, the social media site unveiled this morning.
Selena joins Beyonce and Cristiano Ronaldo in the top 10 list, PLUS she’s still the most followed celeb with over 130 million followers.
Cristiano comes in second at 116 million, with Ariana Grande in third at 115 million.
The data was compiled from January 1, 2017 until mid-November.

All throughout October, Vanessa Marano channeled her inner Wednesday Addams on her Instagram — something that we quite enjoyed.
After posting her last photo yesterday, the former Switched at Birth actress uploaded a new video thanking all her collaborators for it all.
“Our whole goal was to make Wednesday Addams look like an obnoxious Instagram blogger,” she shared. “I think we accomplished the goal.”
Vanessa‘s younger sister Laura, it seems, is actually quite happy with it being over.

Today, IG released three new customization features, Teen Vogue reports.
1. You can now use custom geofilters if you live in a major metropolitan city that are created by members of your city.
2. You can create a selfie sticker by taking a photo/video, tapping the smiley face and swiping right. Your mini selfie then becomes a “sticker,” customizable with frames, size options, etc.
Yep, this effectively makes you an emoji!
AND even better….
3. You can pin your sticker on video, including Boomerang! You just tap the sticker, move it over an object, and tap “pin.”

Social media celebrity Lele Pons has channeled her video fame into Instagram as well — and it definitely has paid off!
Lele tweeted yesterday that she has reached 16 million followers on Instagram, a major milestone for any celeb, social or otherwise.
“16 million on Instagram!!” Lele exclaimed. “Thank you guys!! I love every single one of you!!” She accompanied her post with a number of red heart emojis.
“You deserve it,” dozens of her fans instantly tweeted back. And with her new Covergirl ambassadorship, first Fashion Week and much more, she certainly does.
Lele‘s Instagram account features behind-the-scenes photographs from her Youtube videos, adorable selfies with her boyfriend Juanpa Zurita, and cameos with all of her famous content creator friends. Her content creator background shows, because it is beautifully maintained and edited.

“5 MILLION OF YOU?!” she captioned an Instagram of herself holding up enormous “5″ and “M” balloons in a stairwell. “THANK YOU for your constant love and support. Thank you for sticking by my side and thank you for listening even when I’m quiet. I love you.”
The post has already garnered nearly 70,000 likes (and it’s only been an hour.) Suffice it to say, with the films and performances she has lined up, Hailee‘s star power will only be increasing from here.
