'iZombie' Stars Aly Michalka & Rahul Kohli Tease Ravi & Peyton's Relationship in Season 4

'iZombie' Stars Aly Michalka & Rahul Kohli Tease Ravi & Peyton's Relationship in Season 4

As we all know, Ravi and Peyton’s relationship on iZombie is…well, complicated.

With season four premiering tonight, Rahul Kohli and Aly Michalka both opened up about the duo’s future.

For now, Ravi and Peyton are just friends, and a romantic relationship might not be in the cards at all for them.

“[I think that Peyton needs a break from] all of this boy stuff,” Rahul confessed to Collider. “It’s great to have such a strong female character, and romance…It’s not really the focal point of this season.”

Aly added, “I think there’s also a moment where Ravi really shows his commitment to Peyton and kind of takes one for the team, and that happens in the first few episodes. You’ll kind of see this shift in the relationship. But it’s definitely hopeful for the Ravi and Peyton fans out there.”

But, speaking of Ravi, Rose McIver also opened up about that big cliffhanger we were left with at the end of season 3 — does Ravi actually become a zombie? We did see him eat a brain in the trailer — at least that’s what it looked like.

“It’s a surprise,” she says. “…Ravi is as enthusiastic as ever to create a cure. It’s really worth watching how that unfolds. I think it would be a disservice to the show to tease too much because it really pans out in a way I think will surprise and intrigue people.”

iZombie premieres TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Rose McIver Will Be A Rap Star In 'iZombie' Season Four

Rose McIver Will Be A Rap Star In 'iZombie' Season Four

Most of us would take one look at Rose McIver and say that she isn’t the type of person to love rap music — but then, you’d be wrong.

In a new interview talking about her series, iZombie, the actress was talking about an upcoming episode where she has “rap brain”, and revealed that she’s always been a huge fan of rap music.

“I still do enjoy really good rap music, but I had a phase as a teenager when I got really into it and thought I could rap myself,” Rose says to Collider. “I was definitely not a good rapper.”

Her love of the music actually helped her with this particular brain too, for the show.

“I definitely had listened to a lot and have a fairly good understanding of it and reference points,” she says. “I worked a little bit with friends I knew. Again, on this show, we don’t really get a lot of time to prep, so there wasn’t a way to do a rapping boot camp or anything. Good conversations with people who knew a lot more than I did about the field.”

Rose adds. “It’s cool. We want to have a little bit of a twinkle in our eye about it the whole time. I don’t want Liv to be a bad rapper, but I also want it to be clear that it’s not something she would naturally have had a grasp of.”

iZombie returns for its’ fourth season on Monday, February 26th on The CW.

iZombie's Rose McIver Teases New Love Interest For Liv

iZombie's Rose McIver Teases New Love Interest For Liv

Spoilers are rolling in for iZombie, which is back on Monday on The CW.

The first being that Liv is getting a new boyfriend for season four!

“She gets a new boyfriend, at some point, during the season,” Rose McIver confirmed in a new interview. “His name is Levon.”

She adds that his name particularly excited her because “their ship name would be Livon, which was clearly no accident knowing our writers.”

Here’s what she dished about Levon: “He’s completely different to her boyfriends we’ve met in the past. I fear for his safety, as I do for all Liv’s love interests. It’s different, it’s new and he’s a documentary filmmaker. It’s a version of a person Liv connects with that we haven’t seen before, which is cool.”

iZombie returns on Monday, February 26th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
