Here’s what the hugely successful K-Pop boy band had to say…
RM on social change: “Honestly, from our standpoint, every day is stressful for our generation. It’s hard to get a job, it’s harder to attend college now more than ever. Adults need to create policies that can facilitate that overall social change. Right now, the privileged class, the upper class needs to change the way they think.”
RM on the recent death of Jonghyun from the K-pop group SHINee: “We went to give our condolences that morning. I couldn’t sleep at all that night. It was so shocking, because we had seen him so often at events. He was so successful.”
Suga on the death of Jonghyun and mental health awareness: “I really want to say that everyone in the world is lonely and everyone is sad, and if we know that everyone is suffering and lonely, I hope we can create an environment where we can ask for help, and say things are hard when they’re hard, and say that we miss someone when we miss them.”
“Wait” hit-makers Maroon 5 caused a panic on Wednesday (January 17) after replying to a few fans on Twitter asking about a collaboration between the two superstar troupes.
When one fan wrote “PLEASE MAKE A COLAB WITH @BTS_twt,” the band simply responded with “:).”
“Don’t play with my emotions! Tell me this means you’ll do a collaboration with @BTS_twt” another tweeted at the group, to which they responded with a GIF of Elmo shrugging!
“But really what is the answer??” another followed up.
“not sure you can handle it” Maroon 5 responded. The suspense is killing us!

Shawn Mendes couldn’t stop gushing about BTS in his latest interview, and we are all about it.
The “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” singer met the seven-member South Korean boy band at the 2017 American Music Awards last month.
“Their performance was insane, and I watched the video back like a hundred times,” he said. “It almost feels like a movie that they would shoot a million times to get perfect is what they did live, and so I think they’re incredible.”
“They were so sweet,” Shawn continued. “They were probably the most beautiful guys I’ve ever seen in my life. Truly I didn’t know humans existed that beautiful.”
“I would love to [collaborate with them],” he added. “I think that would be amazing.”
