The 12-year-old singer stars as Robert Redford‘s daughter in the new movie.
The Company You Keep is about a former Weather Underground activist (Redford) who goes on the run from a journalist (Shia LaBeouf) who has discovered his identity.

He told the Las Vegas Sun of Jackie, “The evening is all about her. She can hold her own doing an entire show, but I’m giving her the hour.”
Jackie also spoke with PressofAtlanticCity.com about finding her lifelong career at such a young age.
“I think that singing is going to be my career and my passion for as long as I live. I would like to bring up awareness with my music, awareness of everything that’s happening in the world nowadays with pollution and animals being killed,” she said.

The 11-year-old singer opened up about working with Robert Redford in The Company You Keep.
“It was an honor, he’s an amazing guy and so nice. He really made my first real acting experience exciting and fun. I love acting, but I do prefer to sing,” Jackie shared.
Jackie added about what she really wants for the holiday season, “I’ve kind of wanted a kitten for two years.”

“I know that I’m definitely not a big big snob, and I know that at the times that I am a diva I know I’m being a diva,” she shared. “It’s kind of annoying to know that you are. Because it’s a person I do not want to be. So I’m trying my best not to become a jerk.”

From today through December 8, Facebook fans of Chase Community Giving (CCG) and Chase online customers will determine how much each charity will receive by voting for their favorite featured charity online.
The winning charity will receive a $1 million grant from Chase, the runner-up will be granted $500,000, a third organization will receive a $250,000 grant and two will be given $125,000 grants. The charity receiving the $1 million grand prize will be revealed during the television broadcast.
The AGAs will air on Saturday, December 10th on NBC.
The 11-year-old singer sang a track from new album, Dream of Me, called “Nella Fantasia.”
Jackie‘s dad Michael explained on the show how they keep the whole family involved in Jackie’s career: “My wife or I are always with Jackie and in addition, there’s always a sibling with her as well. Everyone rotates a trip with Jackie so that we’re all included.”
Jackie also performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno earlier in the week.

“At this point I try not to think about that, because I think of how horrible my voice could turn into or how great my voice could turn into,” Jackie admits. “I sometimes get scared of growing up because I really love being young, being little.
