James Bay looks serious while arriving at the 2016 Ivor Novello Awards held at Grosvenor House on Thursday (May 19) in London, England.

The 25-year-old performer was at the award ceremony along with fellow British musician Jess Glynne.

During the ceremony, James was awarded for Most Performed Work for his song “Hold Back The River.”

“It’s very important to be recognized for particularly my songwriting…because it’s what has gotten me to all those other places,” James told BBC.

James Bay hits up the stage in the backlot at Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday evening (April 26) in Hollywood.

The 25-year-old musician, who just recently announced his upcoming tour, was on the program alongside X-Men Apocalypse actor Evan Peters.

James Bay hits the stage for a performance on Dancing With the Stars on Monday night (April 18) in Hollywood.

The 25-year-old singer/songwriter sang his song “Hold Back the River” live as Witney Carson and her switch-up partner Wanya Morris did an impressive Tango.
