The official promo pics for Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists are here!
The series, which just debuted its first trailer, stars Sasha Pieterse, Janel Parrish, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, Hayley Erin, Kelly Rutherford, Graeme Thomas King and Sofia Carson.
Here’s everything we know about the series so far: Janel knew about the spinoff about a year before Pretty Little Liars ended, and Sofia didn’t actually audition to play her character, Ava.
We also know that the show will explain just why Alison is without her family, and Mona is getting a brand new love interest.
The original Pretty Little Liars cast is also excited about the series with Lucy Hale not saying no to returning as Aria one day, and both Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson interested in directing on the show.
Oh, and did we mention there’s already a premiere party in place too?
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists will premiere on March 20th on Freeform.
Sofia Carson keeps it classic while arriving at the 2019 TCA Winter Press Tour event held at The Langham Huntington Hotel on Tuesday (February 5) in Pasadena, Calif.
The 25-year-old actress joined Sydney Park, Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse as they promoted their brand new series, The Perfectionists, with showrunner I. Marlene King.
“From the pilot of Pretty Little Liars and on, we treat our characters as adults because they are,” Marlene shared on the Youth Movement panel about the show representing real teens. “We treat them like adults because they are dealing with very grown up problems.”
Sasha added, “That’s part of the reason why our viewers became attached. They saw themselves in us.”
The Bold Type‘s Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy were also spotted at the event for the Hangover Breakfast.

Pretty Little Liars showrunner I. Marlene King, Grown-ish co-showrunner Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry, The Fosters executive producer Joanna Johnson, Janel Parrish, Sasha Pieterse, Luka Sabbat and Yara Shahidi all spoke at the panel.
The panel was part of the network’s “continued commitment to inclusivity and authentic storytelling.”
“At Freeform, our shows are uncompromising and bullish on what’s possible when young adults are empowered to be themselves and share their voice about the things that define them and their generation,” said president Tom Ascheim.
On the same day, it was announced that Grown-ish is being picked up for a third season.

The former Big Time Rush singer took to Instagram on Saturday (February 2) to give fans a peek at the scenes he was shooting with the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress in San Diego.
“Spent the morning shooting scenes in a convertible with these two…. #mightyoakfilm @janelparrish @ladies_man_larry_,” he captioned the slideshow below.
They were joined by their four-legged co-star Larry the Great Dane (who has his own Instagram account).

We finally know all about Janel Parrish‘s new movie with Alexa and Carlos PenaVega!
Deadline reports that the trio, along with Levi Dylan and Tommy Ragen, will star in Mighty Oak.
The movie is a dramedy centering on band manager Gina Jackson (Parrish), who struggles with losing her lead singer/brother (Dylan) in a fatal car accident on the way to a gig.
A decade later, Gina meets a 10-year-old music prodigy named Oak, who seems to possess the same qualities as her brother, Vaughn. But her friends become concerned when Gina starts to insist that Oak is really the reincarnation of Vaughn.
The movie is shooting now in San Diego – and Janel‘s already found her fave co-star of the bunch – a great dane named Larry!
We love that Lana Condor and Janel Parrish have a super strong friendship off the screen.
In her new interview with Buzzfeed, the 21-year-old actress dished about working with Janel in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and how she turns to The Perfectionists actress for all the advice.
“Working with Janel Parrish was AMAZING because she played my older sister, but I felt like she was my older sister in real life,” Lana shared. “And of course I watched Pretty Little Liars and I’m such a big fan.”
She added about Janel‘s persona, “She’s just genuinely like the most amazing person and she provided so much advice for me and help because she’s been doing this way longer than me.”
“She’s just been amazing and I feel like I can talk to her about anything,” Lana added.

Janel Parrish completely changed her look over the weekend!
Just after wrapping filming on the first season of The Perfectionists, the actress showed off a brand new look for her next role on social media.
“New movie, new me. Thanks @glennnutley and @thehellodarlingsalon for turning me into rocker mermaid,” Janel captioned with the first pic on Instagram.
Janel added even more to her new look with a nose ring!
“When a role calls for blue hair and a pierced nose…sometimes you just go all in 😜.”
