We are very sad to report that Kenny Ortega‘s beloved pup Manly Boi “Wildcat” Ortega has passed away at the age of 12.
The Descendants and High School Musical director/choreographer shared the news on his Instagram on Tuesday (July 24) and received an outpouring of love.
Stars from both Disney franchises offered their love and condolences, including Manly‘s High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale. He played her pup Boi in the second and third films.
“My heart hurts đź’” he was by far my favorite costar to date,” Ashley wrote. Kenny replied, “@ashleytisdale He [had] the biggest crush on you all through his life. Proud to know you! ❤️”
Many members from Kenny‘s films, including High School Musical actors Monique Coleman, Jared Murillo, and Matt Prokop, Descendants actors Kristin Chenoweth, Melanie Paxson, Brenna D’Amico, and Jadah Marie, as well as Rocky Horror star Laverne Cox all shared their love. Jared Murillo holds on to his own XBox 360 Call of Duty game as he attends the launch party of Call Of Duty: Black Ops held at London’s Battersea Power Station on Monday night (November 8).
The 22-year-old dancer attended the party with Strictly Come Dancing partner Tina O’Brien. The duo attended the 2010 Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards held at Banqueting House last weekend.
Unfortunately, Jared and Tina were voted off the BBC reality series late last month.

The duo, who will dancing together on this season of Strictly Come Dancing, headed up to Nandos restaurant for a bite to eat before heading back to the studio for more practice.

Jared Murillo keeps close to professional dancer Aliona Vilani as they arrive at the Strictly Come Dancing Season 8 Launch Show held at BBC Television Centre in London on Wednesday evening (September 8).
The 21-year-old dancer was announced as part of the new cast earlier this year.
While we know that Jared‘s former pro partner Lacey Schwimmer will be dancing with Kyle Massey on Dancing with the Stars, we still don’t know who Jared will be dancing with on SCD.

V Factory band members Asher Book, Jared Murillo, Nicky T and Wesley Quinn step out for a night on the town, attending Star Magazine‘s 5th Year Anniversary Celebration held at Bardot in Hollywood on Tuesday night (October 13).

V Factory bandmate Nathaniel recently wrote on their MySpace, “Next week we are finally shooting our video for ‘Lovestruck.’ Finally! It’s gonna be worth the wait because we just got the final treatment in today! It’s gonna be so hot.”
