The 26-year-old singer welcomed her new bundle of joy with partner Omar Amin over the weekend, and JJJ has the very first pics of the adorable baby.
Zayne Omar Amin was born a week early in California, 6.1 pounds, 19.5 inches and Jasmine shared her birth story with us.
“May 14th changed from a regular boring day into a blessing pretty quick,” she says. “I was feeling some back pain and decided to go to the hospital for a quick check up. As soon as they checked me they told me I was giving birth, [and] at first I didn’t comprehend what they were saying. It wasn’t until they were going through the disclaimers that it clicked.”
Jasmine continued, “I stopped her and asked ‘am I staying here today?’, she said ‘you are having the baby’. In a couple hours it all went by pretty fast and I had a beautiful baby boy in my arms.”
“I am so thankful to God for this blessing. With Zayne, Ameera and Omar I feel like my family is complete and am so excited to see what the future holds for us.”
Jasmine has a daughter, Ameera, from her first relationship with musician Ronnie Banks.
Jasmine V has taken to social media to explain to fans just why there hasn’t been as much new music lately from her as they expected.
The 24-year-old musician revealed that she’s been on her own with her music for a while now.
“I have a few songs under my belt that I’ve already recorded for my project..just waiting for my producers to come back into town after their time away for the holidays,” she writes.
Jasmine adds, “As y’all know, music is my passion, but unfortunately after I had my daughter everyone that ‘had my back’ disappeared…except for the people u seen in my life today.”
“So music is def something I’m going to keep pursuing BUT a lot of y’all have to understand that it’s just me. No label, no manager, just ME.”
We love Jasmine (and her cute patootee daughter Ameera), so if we have to wait a little bit longer because it’s only her, we can do it.
Earlier in the year, Jasmine released a quartet of songs that you can listen to on JJJ now.

The singer’s brand new song, “Devil Wears Prada” is the first song that she’s worked on with Ronnie Banks, her fiance.
“It was super fun!” Jasmine told JJJexclusively. “We’ve always wanted to work together and when we got the chance we jumped on the opportunity!”
She adds about the story behind the song, “The story I wanted to tell was that everyone has that one person they love so much and they would do anything for regardless if it’s returned.”
“Sometimes we just can’t let go of something we know might not be good for us.”
Jasmine continues, “My fans have been waiting so long for new music and I really think they’re gonna love this sound. They’ve been so patient with me and I’m just glad I can give them quality music.”
While it hasn’t been long, it’s been long enough since Jasmine V blessed our ears with new music — and her fans have definitely let her know.
It looks like the singer finally gave in and uploaded not just one, but FOUR new tracks to her Soundcloud, definitely making us and all her fans super happy!
“I love this man. I’m engaged to my best friend!! We’ve been through so much and we still continued to fight for each other and that’s my definition of true love @realronniebanks,” Jasmine captioned the video.
Jasmine Villegas made her first appearance since the birth of her daughter, Ameera Reign, at Macy’s Presents Fashion’s Front Row event on Wednesday night (September 7) in New York City.
“Ameeras first trip to NY,” the 22-year-old singer shared on Twitter ahead of the event with the heart-eyed emoji.
Jasmine joined twin actors Peyton and Spencer List at the event, which serves as a fund-raiser for Ronald McDonald House New York and the Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation. Throughout the 30-year run, Macy’s fashion week events have raised over $30 million for charity.
Just recently, Jasmine has been teasing a new project on her Instagram, hashtagged #GimmeMore with all the sneak peeks. We can’t wait to see what she has in store!
