Who is Jane the Virgin's Narrator & When Will We Find Out His Identity?!

If you’re big Jane the Virgin fans like us, you’ve probably also been wondering about the voice of the show – the narrator. Who is he?

“There are hints throughout” executive producer Jennie Urman told TVLine.com.

Did you catch the big one in the season finale?!

During Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio’s (Jamie Camil) wedding scene, the narrator said, “And Xiomara? Well, she looked perfect. At least to the people who loved her most – which includes me.”

WHAT?! Who could it be? Mateo all grown up? Jane’s late grandfather?

When asked if fans have correctly guessed the person’s identity, Jennie said, “Maybe, but not really. That’ll make sense eventually.”

For now, we’ll have to wait until the end of the series, more specifically “part of the last two scenes.” That’s a long ways away….

SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

Did you catch last night’s action-packed finale of Jane the Virgin?!

One of the major moments was when we were introduced to an old love of Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) named Adam – played by Tyler Posey!

We’re interested to see what happens with those two, especially given that there have been some big hints at Jane and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) rekindling their romance.

“Adam’s arrival definitely changes the course of Jane’s life and trajectory,” showrunner Jennie Urman told Deadline. “Our show likes to construct, deconstruct, and reconstruct the idea of ‘meant to be.’ Whereas Jane started off believing whole-heartedly in the idea that you are ‘meant to’ be with one person, as she matures, and the show matures, we look at that question, and ask if it’s really true. Or is life, and romantic love, more about timing?”

She added, “We are, of course, always teasing out the possibility of Jane and Rafael – but we aren’t looking at a traditional love triangle with those three. And I can’t say anymore!”

How are you liking Jane the Virgin this season so far?!

Now that we know Michael (Brett Dier) is alive, it seems like he and Jane (Gina Rodriguez) are going to live happily ever after, right?

Executive producer Jennie Urman recently opened up about the duo finally doing the deed!

“There’s so much pressure on Jane to make [it] the perfect moment,” Jennie told TVLine.com. “There’s so much pressure on us in the writers’ room to make [it] the perfect moment.”

So does this mean Jane and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) are officially over?

“Things are a lot easier when everybody’s wanting to win your heart,” Jennie said. “Co-parenting is difficult no matter what, but it hasn’t been as difficult as it could be for Jane, because [Rafael] has always wanted to please her.”

As for whether Jane and Rafael fans should give up hope, Jennie offered, “I would say people should still hold out hope, because things get complicated. But we’re not playing it. It’s there underneath.”

Jane the Virgin airs Mondays @ 9PM on The CW.
