Rowan Blanchard Announces Art Book 'Still Here' Coming in 2018

Rowan Blanchard is such a powerful young voice we knew it was only a matter of time until she wrote a book — and now she has!

As usual, the former Girl Meets World star has totally subverted our expectations.

The 15-year-old actress and activist took to Instagram today to announce the cover for her new book, STILL HERE.

“OKAY HERE WE GO!!!!” she wrote. “For the past three years, I have been making, collecting, and editing various artworks, made by myself and my insanely talented friends (most of which I met thru the internet :D) into an art book with @penguinrandomhouse @razorbillbooks.”

“I am so overwhelmed and excited and nervous to present to you guys the cover for STILL HERE, coming to you early next year,” she continued, “this is so surreal and is what I have been up to at 1 in the morning alone in my bedroom for the past few years! Ok this is insane! Link in my bio if you want to know more! Ok I love teenagers so much this is for you!! Ok bye I am freaking out!”

We’re freaking out too! Rowan has been such an outspoken proponent of Generation Z and the power of the Internet, and we are so proud of her for using these passions to make something important.

Chris Colfer Reveals How He Feels On Saying Goodbye to 'The Land of Stories', For Now...

Anyone else still trying to avoid the last page of Chris Colfer‘s “The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide” so the series won’t ever, ever end? Us, too.

The author recently spoke with CBC’s Q podcast, and kind of feels the same way as we do about saying goodbye.

“I always dreamt of what would happen after the last page of the first book, you know, life beyond that [for Alex and Connor],” Chris muses. “I did not sign up for these books thinking there would be six of them.”

“Just the idea of doing one book…the longest thing I had ever written was a two-page essay when I was in high school. It was really daunting.”

But before he knew it, there were two books, then three.

“It wasn’t until the first one did well that I started thinking that I can do another, and then two after that…After the third one, I was so invested in all the characters that I could not say goodbye,” Chris shared.

However, now that he’s at the sixth and final book, he’s having a hard time saying goodbye.

“I’ve never been a parent to anything but a golden retriever and a tabby cat, but I want to say it’s kind of like parenting where you are writing and you start off in the beginning, maybe you’re not so good and you make mistakes,” Chris says. “But by the time you get it, the kids are all grown up.”

“That’s kind of how it feels with the books.”

Toby Regbo Gifted Adelaide Kane A Book That She's Reading Now (Exclusive)

Adelaide Kane is a big reader and has stacked library of books that we’d love to browse.

Speaking with the JJJ Book Club, the former Reign actress revealed the last three books that she’s been reading and they include “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari.

“[I've] been reading this for quite some time,” she admits. “I just can’t seem to get all the way through it though because it’s really dense and I’ve been really busy.”

However, the one book that Adelaide‘s reading right now is called “Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World” by Haruki Murakami — and it was Toby Regbo who gave it to her!

Toby gave it to me when he left [the show] and it’s just been sitting in my library for years and I just started reading it,” she tells us.

Adelaide adds that he gifted it to her on a whim, really.

“He was giving away a whole bunch of his stuff when he moved and gave this one to me,” she shares. “He kind of knew that I have an affinity for Japanese stuff.”

Social Star Jessie Paege Dishes on Her New Book 'Hey, It's Okay To be You' (Exclusive)

Jessie Paege just announced that she has a book coming out and we’re so excited about it!

The social star actually has a two-book deal, and the first book is all about breaking stereotypes and spreading the message of self-acceptance.

Designed to boost self-esteem, promote individuality, and channel inner creativity just like Jessie‘s YouTube channel, the journal will be out on November 7th!

“Hey, It’s Okay to Be You” encourages readers to discover and embrace their true selves through writing prompts, challenges, games, and more — and JJJ has the exclusive scoop on Jessie‘s inspiration, message and more.

“I’m young, so a memoir just didn’t feel right for me yet,” Jessie tells JJJ. “But I do have a message to get across.”

She adds, “I touch on topics that are more advanced, but in a fun way so it’s easier for the younger audience to understand. This book allowed me to give my fans an opportunity to write their thoughts with me. There’s only so much that replying to a tweet can do, but having that personal space is important, so I’m hoping to provide them with that while keeping it fun.”
