Jordan Pruitt belts it out on stage as she performs at the 2009 Neutrogena Fresh Faces of Music Event held at Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood on Saturday afternoon (September 26).
JustJaredJr.com was lucky enough to attend the event and talked to Jordan on her upcoming album that she’s working hard on. She shared with us, “It’s going to be more Rihanna-style. I’m looking to more urban, soulful music, that’s kind of R&B.”

Jordan Pruitt couldn’t be more excited about heading back to California for a bit — she’ll be performing at Neutrogena’s Fresh Face Concert!
The 18-year-old blogged on her official MySpace, “I’m so excited for this week! I’m headed to California on Friday for the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Event!! I’m not only walking the red carpet, but I’m singing at the event too! I’m so stoked, and I cant wait to see my band! AHHHH… I haven’t seen them since the tour ended, so that will be FUN. I’m also going to be in the studio a lot. And I’m looking forward to writing more music. My life has changed A LOT in the past year and a half. And I can’t wait to get my diaries out and make them into songs haha!”

The 18-year-old songstress recently tweeted about her adventure on the road, saying, “Wacky day…. Wonderful show… Headed to Virginia right now….Chillen with my band on my bus. I get home on Saturday! can’t wait to see my best friends!!! And some special. Goodnight World! Thank You for being amazing fans…Thank you for coming to all of the shows. and Thank you for always supporting me.”

Jordan Pruitt belts out a soulful song as she performs at the Taste of Chicago 2009 on Sunday afternoon (July 5).
The 18-year-old songstress recently updated her MySpace, telling all her fans what she’s been up to.
Jordan shared, “I was just in California for this past week rehearsing with my band. Let me just say that I had the BEST time of my life. I have always wanted a band ever since I’ve been on tour. Now I finally got the opportunity to have one on the Demi Lovato tour. I absolutely adore my band, and we have a great time playing together, and making music together!”
She continued, “I have a show tomorrow in Chicago with Mitchel Musso, and I’m playing my first show with my band :) So stoked! I know we are gonna have a great time. Well, after this show I’m gonna fly home for a week. And I have a week off!!! yayy!! Then after that, I’m back to more rehearsals for the tour, wardrobe fittings, and more rehearsals!!!”

Jordan Pruitt had the shock of her life over the weekend — lightning!
The 17-year-old songstress wrote on her MySpace, “I woke up last night at 3AM to really loud bang of thunder. Apparently, lightning struck our house, and a huge tree in our front yard….scary! Now, I’m without cable!!! Whatever shall I do? haha It should be fixed by tonight! Anyways, after I got woke up, I couldn’t fall asleep…I hate when that happens. So I got my computer out and wrote this really cool new song. It’s called, ‘The One’, and It’s really R&B and soulful. I think you guys will like it a lot!
“O.K. so I was thinking about the last four years of my life when I was working out this morning. And I have to say, after everything I’ve been through, I don’t regret anything. I think everything I’ve had to go through has made me the person I am today. A strong independent girl. I really love the place I’m at in my life. I have an amazing family and really awesome friends who I adore. As my 18th birthday approaches, I’m not as worried as I used to be. I know that whatever is supposed to happen…will. I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m very excited to find out. Love You All! xo Jordan.”
Jordan Pruitt just got back from a busy day in Los Angeles and had to update her MySpace to tell us all about it.
Check out what the 17-year-old “One Love” singer had to say: “Hi guys! Just got back to my hotel. I’m a little tired today! Yesterday I promised you guys a play by play of what happened yesterday — here it goes. My hair and makeup artist came a few hours before the premiere because we needed to catch up! And we like to have fun while he’s doing my makeup…by fun I mean turn on some music and dance! After I got glamorized I was dropped off at the red carpet (which was actually a purple carpet). As I walked everyone was screaming my name, and I tried to sign as many autographs as possible!! Sorry to any of you who I didn’t make it you! I love you!!!! After I walked to the ”purple” carpet, I interviewed with Radio Disney! I absolutely adore Ernie D so I was glad he was there!”

The 17-year-old “My Shoes” singer looked pretty in a two tone pink Betsey Johnson “Teen Vogue” strapless dress and paired it off with silver pumps.
