The British-born actor spoke with US Weekly over the weekend and spilled what he could.
“Right now it’s utter turmoil and betrayal and bloodshed and the good stuff it normally is,” he shared. “We’ll see, I don’t know, I’ve only read up until episode 7. So I’ve got six more to read, so I don’t know how it’s going to end.”
However, there’s one thing that he does hope happens at the end of the show — that the fans are satisfied.
And one more thing:
Joseph shared, “I hope that we’re going to get the end that is satisfying and that all characters will be at some sort of peace.”
Elliot Knight suits up for a night out with Evanna Lynch at the 2017 Mercy For Animals Annual Hidden Heroes Gala on Saturday night (September 23) in Los Angeles.
The British actor will be starring on The CW’s upcoming series Life Sentence, alongside Lucy Hale, as her husband, Wes.
The Mercy For Animals Gala is aimed to move and inspire and honored songwriter Diane Warren, who was presented with the Mercy For Animals Compassionate Leadership Award by pop star, Leona Lewis.
Right now, the actress who plays Caroline Forbes is only scheduled to be in the premiere episode, but showrunner Julie Plec says that there could be more, and that her interaction with Klaus will be important to his character and the ship.
“Caroline is the headmistress of Klaus’ daughter’s school, so they are going to have an interaction at some point,” she shared with THR. “She has a perspective for him and the way that he’s living his life right now.”
And it looks like Joseph Morgan is looking forward to it: “I suspected there might be something more to this story. There’s always been … a feeling of something unresolved there.”
The Originals will return for its’ final season in 2018 on The CW.
To top things off, showrunner Julie Plec is teasing some upcoming drama between Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline (Candice King) in the new season.
“She’s just got so much life in her. She just brings the spirits up of people around her. There’s just something great about watching Caroline call Klaus on his s**t,” Julie told EW during Comic-Con.
The Originals made the big announcement yesterday that the show would be ending with season five, and fans had a ton of mixed feelings about it all.
“Know that in a show about an immortal family who believes in ‘Always and Forever’, it’s never really the end of the story,” showrunner Julie Plec shared in her message to the fans.
Moments after, star Joseph Morgan shared his own touching message with the legions of fans and summed our feelings up perfectly.
“#TheOriginalsS5 will be our last,” he wrote on Twitter. “Thanks for your undying support & I hope you’ll keep the darkest corner of your heart reserved for us ;)”
