TVGuide reports that the 18-year-old actress will star alongside Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney, Dominic West and Joshua Jackson in the Showtime series.
The Affair tells the story of Noah (West), a New Yorker spending the summer on Long Island with his family who begins an affair with Allison (Wilson), a woman who works at a pancake house. Allison is married to Cole (Jackson), a tough cowboy who manages a ranch, and Noah is married to Helen (Tierney), his college sweetheart and best friend whose life is turned upside down by Noah’s infidelity.
Julia will play Whitney, Noah and Helen’s eldest child.
Sad news for Bunheads fans — the series has officially been cancelled by ABC Family.
“Bunheads is a wonderful series that we are very proud to have aired,” ABC Family said in a statement (via Deadline). “The series had amazing storytelling, the most talented cast and a passionate and loyal fan base. Recognizing all of this, we took extra time to try and find ways to bring the series back for another season, but in the end it simply wasn’t possible. We wish the cast and crew the best in their future endeavors.”
Starring Bailey Buntain, Emma Dumont, Julia Goldani Telles, Kaitlyn Jenkins, Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop, the show followed Michelle (Foster), a Las Vegas showgirl marries a man on a whim and moves to his sleepy coastal town where she winds up working alongside her new mother-in-law at her dance school.
In this week’s episode “Next,” he girls secretly follow Michelle (Sutton Foster) to a Broadway musical audition in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Fanny (Kelly Bishop) returns and Michelle’s brother, Scotty (Hunter Foster), pops back up unannounced. Sasha (Telles) thinks the girls need to take their relationships with their boyfriends to the next level,

In tonight’s episode “There’s Nothing Worse Than A Pantsuit,” Milly (Liza Weil) is on the warpath when she discovers that the local town preservation society is arranging a meeting to discuss the new amphitheatre.
