Justice Smith is heading to HBO Max in a new teen dramedy!

The 24-year-old Detective Pikachu actor has joined the cast of Generation, Deadline reports.

“Excited for this one!” he wrote on Twitter.

Justice will star as Chester, who is a queer high school senior and “a star water polo player and a straight A student. Fabulous, funny, fearless, Chester pushes boundaries and resists labels in every way. Despite his seemingly friendly and open nature, there’s a deeper mystery behind his loneliness.”

Also joining the cast is Chloe East, who has most recently been seen in the movie Next Level. She will play Naomi, an “outspoken, crass, hard-edged twin sister to Nathan, she comes from a wealthy conservative Christian family which is part of Orange County’s socio-political elite.”

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress, the 13 Reasons Why actor, and the dancer all make cameos in the visual, which dropped on Friday (August 30).

Hailee Steinfeld, Lil Dicky, Noah Cyrus, Justice Smith, Olivia Munn, Tommy Dorfman, Tony Revolori, and more also star.

The video was directed by longtime collaborator Jake Schreier, and the track samples the Vitamin C classic of the same name.

“Graduation” follows Benny Blanco and Juice Wrld‘s previous collaboration, “Roses” with Brendon Urie.

Auli’i Cravalho just can’t stop smiling while arriving for Variety’s 2019 Power of Young Hollywood event held at The H Club Los Angeles on Tuesday night (August 6) in Los Angeles.

The 18-year-old actress met up with fellow Ariel, Halle Bailey, inside the annual party.

Auli’i will star in ABC’s live concert of the classic movie.

Halle‘s grown-ish co-stars Chloe Bailey, Diggy Simmons, and Trevor Jackson were also at the party, along with Ajiona Alexus, Marsai Martin, Dumbo‘s Nico Parker, model Bella Harris, Pokemon stars Kathryn Newton and Justice Smith and Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer and Storm Reid.

Justice Smith looks handsome in a navy and green, plaid suit as he arrives at the premiere Pokemon: Detective Pikachu on Thursday night (May 2) in New York City.

Joining the 23-year-old actor on the yellow carpet was his co-star Kathryn Newton – who went glam in a blush-colored gown for the premiere.

Just last week, Justice and Kathryn jetted off to Tokyo to premiere the new movie for fans in Japan.

Kathryn Newton wows in a red gown while arriving for the premiere of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu held on Thursday (April 25) in Tokyo, Japan.

The 22-year-old actress posed for pics with co-stars Justice Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Ken Watanabe, as well as the film’s director Rob Letterman.

Japanese actors Marie Iitoyo and Ryoma Takeuchi, who are the dub voice actors for Justice and Kathryn’s characters for the Japanese release, were also seen on the bright yellow carpet.

The flick centers on a young man (Smith) who joins forces with Detective Pikachu (Reynolds) to unravel the mystery behind his father’s disappearance. Chasing clues through the streets of Ryme City, the dynamic duo soon discover a devious plot that poses a threat to the Pokémon universe.

The film is slated to debut in the United States and Japan on May 10th!

The Golden Globes are this weekend and there will be lots and lots of parties attended by all the best celebs!

W Magazine threw an event on Friday night (January 4) at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles to celebrate its Best Performances Portfolio and some of the celebs there included Lili Reinhart and Sarah Hyland.

More stars at the event included Sarah’s boyfriend Wells Adams, Eighth Grade‘s Elsie Fisher and Josh Hamilton, The Hate U Give‘s Amandla Stenberg, The Vampire Diaries‘ Kat Graham, and Big Little Lies‘ Kathryn Newton.

Also in attendance were future Charlie’s Angels star Ella Balinska, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom‘s Justice Smith, Leave No Trace‘s Thomasin McKenzie, Masters of Sex‘s Isabelle Fuhrman, and singer Troye Sivan.
