Justin Baldoni tries to hold back some tears in this heartbreaking new video.
In the clip, the 35-year-old actor and director choked up while talking about the end of Jane The Virgin, and how it helped his dreams come true.
“It’s rare to get to be a part of something this beautiful,” Justin tearfully says. “You know, you grow up and you dream about being a performer, and being an actor, being a director. Those dreams seem so far away from who you are as a young boy, and then you win the lottery and it happens.”
“I think every actor is given a choice. You can dive into this experience and dive into your work, and make it about achieving a dream and about the work,” he continued. “Or you can dive into this experience and look at as an opportunity to do something bigger.”
He also shared a message about the finale on Twitter.
“Can’t believe this is it. Tonight it ends. What a ride. Forgive me as I may be posting a lot today as I am feeling very sentimental (as usual). So much gratitude. What a journey this has been. What a family we have become. What a blessing. #theend #janethevirgin #thefinalchapter,” he wrote.
The 35-year-old actor paid tribute to his time on the CW drama Jane the Virgin in a touching Instagram post on Thursday (July 25).
Justin penned a sweet message about his time on the show, which he posted along with a behind-the-scenes video from filming the series.
“These past five years have been nothing short of incredible and I want to leave you with some fun stuff to remember,” he wrote. “So In honor of the end of @cwjanethevirgin – here’s a glimpse of the making of that epic dance number from earlier this season. It took a village to make it what it was. Amazing choreography, camera operating, VFX, lighting, hair, makeup, stretchy wardrobe – autotune (for me 😂) you name it – a group of amazing people worked there asses off to make it magical …and all in one take. #janethevirgin #thefinalseason #memories.”
Taking to Instagram and Twitter, the three, along with Brett Dier, Jaime Camil, and Andrea Navedo, shared their final moments and emotions with longtime fans.
“Yesterday is a blur. A blur of tears and hugs and laughter and very strong feelings,” Yael writes. “I love these people so incredibly much and although I will still see them plenty, I will miss working with them terribly. This was a unique group that somehow made magic happen. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!”
She added another with her on-screen daughters, Mia and Ella Allen, saying that it was an “impossible goodbye.”
Gina posted several pics to her own account, writing, “And that’s a wrap on Jane. 100 episodes. Sending so much love to all the Jane Warriors who made our show thrive for all these years! We love you.”
Gina was seen filming the scene with co-star Justin Baldoni, who plays Rafael Solano on the show.
The fifth season of Jane The Virgin is also going to be the show’s last.
Jane has been caught in a love triangle between Radael and Michael on the show, so this might confirm who she’s ultimately going to end up with. But, it could always be a curveball scene – or even a dream sequence!
