Candice Accola sticks by gal pal Kayla Ewell‘s side inside Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris’ D.J. Night Pre-Oscar Bash held at 1OAK in Los Angeles on Friday night (February 20).
The two actresses, who both starred on The Vampire Diaries, made it a girls night out ahead of the at the 2015 Academy Awards.

The Vampire Diaries cast were honored with the Cast of Heroes Award and recognizes their deep commitment to improving social change and awareness around the world.
Michael dished to Zap2It about the honor, “It’s kind of crazy, because we all do it just to do it, not for any other reason. The eight of us [on 'TVD'] are now like a little army, each of us representing what we want to follow as far as our charities go, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. Everyone kind of had their own charity and we all started supporting each other and tweeting about each others’ charities and it just grew and grew. It’s really cool and it’s nice that Children Mending Hearts is recognizing that.”
