Charles Esten, Kevin Chamberlin & More 'Jessie' Co-Stars Remember Cameron Boyce

Cameron Boyce‘s former Jessie co-stars are remembering the young actor with touching memories and posts.

Charles Esten, who played the dad on the Disney Channel show, penned a lengthy note after knowing the 20-year-old well before they worked together on the series.

“My family and I are devastated today, by the loss of our young and amazing friend, Cameron Boyce. Years before I was blessed to play his father on JESSIE, we were blessed to know him and his wonderful family at the elementary school our kids all attended together,” he started out. “It was a joy to work with him on JESSIE, as it was with all the wonderful young stars of that beloved show. They were as close as actual brothers and sisters to one another, and still are, and my heart breaks for them today.”

“Our love and heartfelt prayers go out to them, and most especially, to the Boyce family. Your Cameron was a blessing to us, as he was to so many others in this world. May you feel the breadth of love being poured out for him today, and may God comfort you as you mourn,” Charles added.

Kevin Chamberlin, who played the butler Bertram, shared how Cameron would always light up the room.

“Our ‘Jessie’ family has been devastated by the sad and untimely passing of our beloved Cameron Boyce. He always lit up a room when he entered-he was an extraordinarily talented actor, a selfless advocate with his charity work, and a loyal friend.Our hearts are heavy with sadness,” he wrote.

Chris Galya, who played the bell boy Tony Chiccolini, wrote, “I have no words. I love you brother. The light you spread with every smile. I’m absolutely crushed. ♥️”

A 'Jessie' Fan Asked Bertram To Prom & Got Help From Peyton List

Put this Prom ask on the top of the cool list!

One Jessie fan actually asked Kevin Chamberlin, who played butler Bertram, to her prom and got some major help from his co-star Peyton List.

When the fan asked Kevin to her prom, she asked just how many RT’s on social she would need to make it happen and he gave them to her — 100,000 RTs and 500,000 likes — AND IT HAPPENED!

Right now, the Twitter post has over 183,000 RTs and 543,000 likes!

“come through @kevinchamberlin,” Peyton shared on her Twitter, with other fans saying the prom date probably wouldn’t happen — but don’t doubt Kevin.

“Should I wear a classic black tie tux or go retro with top hat and tails?” “I should probably coordinate with you. What color is your dress?” were two of the questions Kevin asked his prom date.

Cameron Boyce, Karan Brar & Peyton List Support Kevin Chamberlin at 'Disaster!' Premiere

Cameron Boyce, Karan Brar, and Peyton List all gather around Kevin Chamberlin during the opening night party for Disaster! held at Hard Rock Cafe in New York City on Tuesday night (March 8).

The three young actors reunited with their Jessie co-star to celebrate the opening of his new musical on Broadway.

“So proud of you uncle Kev. Go see our Bertram in #Disaster! Funny and refreshing, definitely a must see!” Cameron wrote on Instagram after the show with a sweet pic of the quartet.

Jessie's Peyton List Reunites With Kevin Chamberlin in NYC

Peyton List meets up with Kevin Chamberlin backstage at the Nederlander Theater in New York City on Tuesday night (February 16).

The two Jessie co-stars caught up after Peyton, 17, caught a preview performance of Kevin‘s new musical, Disaster!, which opens on March 8th.

Disaster! is a dark Broadway musical that “delivers earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and some of the most unforgettable songs of the 70′s.”

On the West Coast, Peyton‘s The Thinning co-star Logan Paul was spotted heading to dinner at Katsuya in Hollywood.

Jessie Leaves New York City For Hollywood On Series Finale

Jessie (Debby Ryan) tries to say goodbye to the Ross kids in this new still from the series finale of Jessie.

In “Ooray for Ollywood”, when Christina Ross (Christina Moore) returns home, Jessie heads to L.A. for a role in a movie.

But Emma (Peyton List), Zuri (Skai Jackson), Luke (Cameron Boyce) and Ravi (Karan Brar) have no intention of letting her go and follow Jessie to Hollywood.

“Ooray for Ollywood” airs TONIGHT, Friday, October 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Jessie's Kevin Chamberlin Shares Sweet Letter & Song to Say Goodbye

Grab the tissues – the series finale of Jessie is just a few days away.

We’ve enlisted the cast to write their fans and characters goodbye letters before it all ends. Check out Kevin Chamberlin‘s here:

Dear Fans:

Four years. Hundreds of stories. Thousands of script pages. Tens of thousands of rehearsal hours. Millions of laughs. When they arrived at Hollywood Center Studios, their voices were high and squeaky. Their talent was raw, pure and innocent. By episode 101, they were seasoned actors with the world out in front of them.
They taught me how to be a kid again. How to find the 5-year old inside me, playing in the sandbox.
They taught me how to be silly again.
They taught me patience.
They taught me how to Dougie.

They are a part of my family – and will be for the rest of my life. I’m not going to say I miss them, because we’ll see each other often. I’ll cheer them on with their successes, attend their weddings and maybe even be a surrogate grandpa to their kids.

I’ll miss Bertram. I’ll miss his cooking utensils. I’ll miss the vest and bowtie. I’ll miss the lizard. I’ll even miss the gags. Most of them. That one episode where I got crammed into a locker dressed as an elf – I still have claustrophobic nightmares about that one. And the dunk tank at the central park fair. Dunk tanks are not my friend.

I’ll miss Pamela Eels, the creator of the show – and all of the brilliant writers who toiled into the night, writing jokes and gags that will entertain families for generations to come.

I’ll miss the crew behind the scenes who worked so hard to made us all look good.

If I’m feeling nostalgic, it’s always nice to know I can turn on the Disney Channel and catch a rerun and relive all of the memories. And all of the laughs.

I was asked by Pam to write a song for an episode where Peyton and I perform in a musical. I was inspired by my four year journey and penned this song that sums up my Jessie experience.

'Jessie' Is Back On Disney Channel Tonight With An All-New Ep!

Jessie (Debby Ryan) and Bertram (Kevin Chamberlin) get in a little “me” time in this new still from tonight’s all-new Jessie.
