The Jonas Brothers join Kelsea Ballerini on stage for the 2021 CMT Artists of the Year, which aired on Wednesday (October 13)!
Because they’re on tour together, they pre-taped their performance as Kelsea was one of the nominees this year.
They performed Joe Cocker‘s rendition of The Beatles song “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
Back in Nashville on Wednesday (October 13), Kelsea‘s husband Morgan Evans hit the red carpet at the event, where he was on hand to help present the honor to her during the ceremony.
“WE ARE SO EXCITED!! 💜 The show’s about to begin! Tune in to @NBC right now so you don’t miss our opening performance with @kellyclarkson and @SheilaEdrummer! #BBMAs,” they wrote Twitter ahead of their performance.
“It felt SO good to be back on stage doing what we love most!! 🎤🎶💜 Opening the show with @kellyclarkson and @SheilaEdrummer singing #HigherLove was MAGICAL! Thanks for having us @BBMAs! ✨ #BBMAs,” PTX added afterwards.
Earlier in the day, Pentatonix announced their next original album The Lucky Ones will be released on February 12, 2021. Their brand new original single, “Be My Eyes,” was also released today. Check it out here!
The track is their first original song since 2015 when they released their self-titled original album, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.
“We’ve all been evolving – individually and as a group – and I think we’ve really leveled-up in terms of seeking out our own happiness. So, to me, this song is a little bit about us turning the page and being ready for a new chapter,” Kristin said about the new song.
