Lucas Till gets close to Kherington Payne in this new still from their upcoming movie, Bravetown.
The 24-year-old actor stars as Josh Harvest, a hardened New York City teen from a broken home – and quietly one of the country’s top dance club DJs and remixers – who is sentenced to counseling for a minor drug infraction, along with an extended stay with his estranged father, who lives in a small town in North Dakota.
He is slow to warm to his new environment, a town best-known for sending its young off to war, many of whom never return. But when Josh is asked to help out the last-place dance team as they vie for the state competition title, his rough exterior begins to soften.
As his relationships emerge with both the team’s captain, Mary (Payne), and his therapist, each of whom have lost someone special to war, it forces all three to begin to face and heal their pasts.
Laura Dern and Josh Duhamel also star in Bravetown, which is out in select theaters and on VOD, May 8th.

The 19-year-old dancer recently caught up with San Francisco Chronicle about her debut role as Alice in Fame.
Kherington shared, “The fact that we both are obsessive about dance, our life is all about dance, and we’re so focused on what we want in life and what our dreams are – we’re the same in that way, but our personalities are very different. Alice is the kind of girl everyone envies; she’s got that popular-girl vibe to her, and that’s definitely not me. I don’t think I would have done well in the performing arts school. Maybe it would have been nice to try it, but I really liked going to a public school. I liked having my school life and my dance life separate from each other.”
Kherington Payne keeps close to on-screen love interest Walter Perez as they attend a screening of their new flick, Fame, held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Thursday night (September 24).
The 19-year-old emerging starlet stars as Alice in the flick, which hits theaters TODAY!

Kherington stars as Alice in the flick, which follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts. In addition to their artistic goals, they have to deal with everything else that goes along with high school, a tumultuous time full of schoolwork, deep friendships, budding romance, and self-discovery.
Fame hits theaters on FRIDAY, September 25.

The 25-year-old Fame star also stepped out with costars Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Kherington Payne at the OK! Magazine party held at The Griffin on Sunday night.
Naturi recently dished to the L.A. Times about the new story of the performing arts high school. She shared, “We respect the original but we’re not trying to remake it. In 2009, we cannot have the exact same issues or dialogue or even all of the same songs because the time is different. There’s change in music. Change in politics. Change in society. It’s a reinvention, not a remake.”

Kherington Payne keep close together as they leave BBC Radio Two studios in London on Thursday morning (September 10).
Asher, 20, has been really excited about the trip. He tweeted, “Can’t believe I’m goin to London today! I’m so excited! This month has been crazy! On my way to the airport damn just got picked up in the dopest bmw ha London here I come! Virgin first class is rediculus!Ifeel like I’m at a night club it’s the coolest thing ever haha wit my girls @naturinaughton and Kerrington [sic].”
Naturi also tweeted from the capital city, relieved to be done for the day. She shared, “Finally done with the long day! Heading to Buckingham Palace! Hello to the Queen of England!:) This is soo cool!”
