Cierra Ramirez and her boyfriend, musician Othrsyde, kick off spooky season at Freeform’s Halloween Road activation on Thursday night (September 30) at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles.
The Good Trouble star and her man visited the attraction which celebrates the network’s 31 Nights of Halloween.
When you think of the greatest Halloween movie, you obviously think of Halloweentown (and if you don’t, go watch it 10 more times and get back to us).
Over the weekend, Kimberly J. Brown, who played Marnie in the original films, shared that most of the cast was trying to reunite at the Spirit of Halloweentown, a festival in St. Helen’s, Oregon, where they shot the first Halloweentown movie.
“They recreate the town square,” she explained in a YouTube video ahead of it. “It’s so cool and so flattering that they want to honor the movie in this way. I have personally been there, and I can attest that it really does feel like you’re walking through Halloweentown.”
Kimberly goes on to say that at the festival this year “we wanted to do a special tribute to [Debbie Reynolds] and her role as Grandma Aggie and have this monument set up there for her. So we’re going to do that this year during the lighting ceremony.”
“I will be joined by the Cromwell clan. That’s right. The fam is getting back together. Judith Hoag, who played Gwen, and J. Paul Zimmerman, who played Dylan, will be joining me for the lighting ceremony. Emily Roeske, who played Sophie, is trying to come it’s not 100% set in stone” — BUT IT HAPPENED!
The Cromwell clan from Halloweentown is getting back together!
Kimberly J. Brown (Marnie) took to YouTube on Tuesday (August 15) to let fans know that she and her castmates from the 1998 Disney Channel Original Movie are planning a reunion 19 years later.
“Hey you guys!” she added on Facebook. “I’m so excited to announce that I’m kicking off the 2017 Spirit of Halloweentown festival this year in St. Helens, Oregon on October 14…and this year, some more members of the Cromwell family are joining me for an extra special tribute to Debbie Reynolds.”
That’s right, Kimberly and her fellow castmates Judith Hoag (Gwen) and Joey Zimmerman (Dylan) will all be on hand for a special tribute to their late co-star at the Spirit of Halloweentown festival on October 14 in St. Helens, Ore., where the movie was filmed.
Emily Roeske (Sophie) will try to make it as well if her schedule allows.
