The co-stars made some hilarious videos joking that they are holding castmate Amarr Wooten hostage unless fans watch the one-hour special.
“Hey guys we just wanted to let you know that we have an hour episode of Knight Squad on tonight and that it’s very important that you watch it…We do have Amarr hostage so if you do care you might want to watch it,” Daniella joked.
In another video she added, “We will not release Amarr if you do not watch!”
The episode even features a special guest – Jessie Graff from American Ninja Warrior!
It looks like we know what we’re doing tonight!
Knight Squad airs on Saturdays at 8 PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
Knight Squad is calling it a wrap on it’s first season!
The Nickelodeon show has been in production since last fall and showrunner Sean Cunningham took to Twitter to share the journey it has been to get the show where it is now.
“Only have 1 day left of Season 1 of #KnightSquad @MarcDworkin and I started this journey with a presentation pilot for @nickelodeon in October of 2015. Look how terrible the quality of cell phone photos were back then!” he wrote. “We got to shoot a full pilot of #KnightSquad in December of 2016 with the most amazing cast of talented young actors in the world. I cannot picture anyone else playing their parts!”
“Last fall we embarked on a 20 episode season. The writers, cast & crew of this show have poured everything they have into making this a great show,” Sean added. “So grateful for the chance to get to work with these experts in their craft. Fingers crossed for more seasons to come.”
Knight Squad airs Saturdays at 8:30 PM on Nickelodeon!
Jack also had to shave his mustache off for the part.
“Baby faced yet again for Knight Squad,” he confirmed with another pic.
If you don’t know, Knight Squad airs Saturday nights on Nickelodeon and centers on two mismatched students who form an unlikely alliance to protect each other’s secret and pursue their dreams at a magical school for knights in training.
Stay tuned to JJJ tomorrow for some special Jack news, too!
Daniella Perkins is revealing what it takes behind-the-scenes to play a knight character.
The Knight Squad actress spoke with Seventeen about the training the actors on the show have to go through for their roles.
“We train every single week; some weeks are more intense than others, depending on the episode,” she said. “We all do sword fighting, so we can all handle a sword pretty well! Ciara’s specialty is a bow and arrow, so we also get trained separately with our trademark weapons.”
“It’s honestly a dream come true,” Daniella added about playing a princess training to be a knight. “I have all these amazing gowns that the costume and wardrobe people design for me to wear, and I get to be a mixed-race princess — that’s something that you hardly ever see [on TV]. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I feel so grateful for it.”
