Kree Harrison sings her heart out during a performance on Extra on Wednesday (May 29) at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old American Idol runner-up recently opened up about working on her debut album.

“The truth is I’m constantly thinking about songs,” Kree shared. “Whether it’s people pitching me songs or thinking about what I want to say on this record, that’s the process that is constantly happening in my head. Going into the studio and doing it will happen really soon.”

The week before, Kree joined her fellow finalists Angie Miller, Janelle Arthur, and winner Candice Glover during a visit to Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Candice Glover rocks purple streaks in her hair as she leaves the Live with Kelly & Michael studios after a performance and interview on Monday morning (May 20) in New York City.

The 23-year-old American Idol winner sang her brand new single “I Am Beautiful.”

That same day, Idol runner-up Kree Harrison was seen laughing as she headed to an appearance on Good Day New York.

“I’ve ever been to NY before! Crazy I know. Any suggestions on fun stuff to do?” Candice, the American Idol winner, tweeted after landing.

In case you missed the exciting news, Kree, 23, will be making her Grand Ole Opry debut on June 4th!

“I’m speechless. It has been my lifelong dream to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. I am so honored to be invited!” she shared in a statement.

FYI: Kree is also pictured taping an appearance for Extra at The Grove on Friday afternoon (May 17).

Kree received mixed reviews, but Nicki Minaj praised her second performance. “I am so super proud of you,” she said. “I’m so happy for you. This was one of your best performances to date. You felt every word.”
