Kylie Bunbury is headed to Fox for a brand new drama, it was announced during the 2016 TCA Winter Tour.
The 26-year-old former Twisted and Tut actress will star in Pitch, as a young female pitcher who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.
“We’re gonna knock it out of the park!!!… I had to! I HAD to haha could not be more excited if I tried,” Kylie wrote on Twitter after the news broke.
She added, “I can’t tell you how humbled and thankful I am for all the support and love! I’m working hard and I won’t let you down!???? #PITCH??.”

Avan Jogia suits up for the premiere of his new Spike TV show Tut held at Chateau Marmont on Wednesday evening (July 8) in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old actor was joined by his girlfriend Zoey Deutch, her mom Lea Thompson, as well as Avan‘s co-stars Peter Gadiot, Sibylla Deen, and Sir Ben Kingsley.
Writers Brad Bredeweg and Peter Paige also attended, as did Avan‘s former Twisted co-star Kylie Bunbury, and Salem‘s Ashley Madekwe and her husband Iddo Goldberg.
Meanwhile, Zoey appears in a feature for the latest issue of Flaunt magazine, which you can check out below!

King Tut (Avan Jogia) rides into battle with his army in the brand new trailer for the upcoming TUT.
The mini-series event explores the drama of power, political back-stabbing, war and murder and chronicles King Tut’s rise to glory, his efforts to rule a chaotic empire and the enigma surrounding his death.
“While we were filming, we found more evidence of Tutankhamun’s death, his physical ailments, and all kinds of extraordinary details,” Sir Ben Kingsley, who plays Ay, the grand vizier to King Tutankhamun, shared with Yahoo.
He added, “And a lot of the stuff that was found, [including] the contents of his tomb, are replicated beautifully in Tut. The Ancient Egyptians were committed to the idea of immortality, and they achieved it. Because we are using what they left behind and are putting it on the screen.”
TUT premieres on Sunday, July 19th @ 9PM ET/PT on Spike.

It was just announced that Kylie, 26, has joined CBS’s Under The Dome as Eva, a beautiful and intelligent woman who comes to Chester’s Mill with her boss, Lucy, in search of the egg. Eva is used to following Lucy’s orders without question, but Eva’s interest in Barbie (Mike Vogel) may complicate matters for all of them, as well as Julia (Rachelle LeFevre).
Meanwhile, Diego was just added to the upcoming series Scream Queens.
Diego is said to play a “bookish but handsome guy” in the upcoming Fox show also starring Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Skyler Samuels, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, Joe Manganiello, and Abigail Breslin.
Twisted may be gone forever, but we’re already getting a mini-reunion!
According to Deadline, Kylie Bunbury has just been cast in Spike TV’s six-hour event series Tut, alongside her former co-star Avan Jogia!
Avan will star opposite Ben Kingsley, who stars as Ay, the grand vizier to King Tutankhamun, who wields tremendous power and influence as the top adviser to the young Egyptian ruler.
Tut will be filmed entirely on location in Morocco and Canada in the fall for a 2015 debut.
