LaurDIY aka Lauren Riihimaki is getting candid about her past experience and what led to her anxiety.
The 26-year-old YouTuber shared a new video where she opened up about someone close to her having a violent seizure right in front of her, which led to PTSD and anxiety.
“Hi my DIY babes, today’s video is something I’ve been thinking about making for years now, but honestly wasn’t really sure how to even start,” Lauren wrote in the video description. “I’ve referenced my anxiety in the past in smaller ways, but I want to tell you my full story today and let you know that I am right here with you in this daily battle. My past has made me who I am, and I hope that shedding a little more light on mental health and telling my story can make even just one person feel a little less alone. I love you, believe you and KNOW that things get better.”
“I have a generalized anxiety disorder that may have been triggered by trauma, with mild PTSD. Even more specifically, I have Agoraphobia and Emetophobia,” Lauren shared in the video.
LaurDIY is showing off her cool, multi-colored braids on social media.
The -year-old influencer and entrepreneur rocked blue, pink and white braids for the final episode of her upcoming HBO Max series, Craftopia.
“AND THAT’S A WRAP!!! 🌈 we wrapped season 1 of Craftopia yesterday and I’m so full of feels,” Lauren wrote on her Instagram. “This show is INCREDIBLE, so many creative minds and passionate hearts behind it and I can’t wait to share it with you in May 2020 on @hbomax ✨”
She added, “Everything from the set design, the outfits (yes that is a custom graffiti craftopia jump suit), hair, makeup, judges, crafters and crew on this show was PERFECT and I couldn’t have asked for a better family to bring this to life 😭❤️”

The 26-year-old DIY influencer is set to host and executive produce the upcoming Craftopia show on HBO Max.
Craftopia is described as an epic kids crafting competition show.
The series will follow 9- to 15-year old contestants who put their imaginations to the test and make their crafting dreams come true in a magical studio. After racing to fill up their carts with inspiring materials from the studio “store,” crafters meet larger-than-life challenges, making the most amazing creations the world has ever seen.
