LaurDIY shines in a shimmery purple dress at NYLON’s 2018 It Girl Party sponsored by Call It Spring held at Ace Hotel on Thursday night (October 11) in Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old digital star and influencer stepped out to the event with Knight Squad stars Daniella Perkins and Lilimar, as well as Tessa Brooks.
If you don’t know, the event is part of WE – a family of organizations making doing good, doable. WE is made up of WE Charity, empowering domestic and international change, ME to WE, and WE Day, filling stadiums around the world with the greatest celebration of social good.
LaurDIY and Alex Wassabi just announced they have broken up and our hearts are breaking!
In an emotional and tearful video, the longtime couple revealed that they are taking time apart after three years of dating.
“We both feel like we need specific things and we’re not fully on the same page so we need to take time apart so we can be on the same page,” Lauren tearfully says in the video.
They added that there was no cheating involved, no jealousy issues and the breakup came out of the blue.
Lauren and Alex also let fans know that while they are taking time apart to be the best versions of themselves, it may not be the end of Laruex.
Later, Lauren took to her Twitter to thank fans for their support writing, “I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s reached out to check on both of us and offer love & support, it means the world to me and I’m so lucky to have all of you ✨ please continue to have faith in true love because I promise that it exists and its so real and powerful.”
LaurDIY is opening up about her personal acne struggles in a brand new vlog.
“Acne can be SUCH a bummer and I wanted to share my experience with you for those who might be struggling as well,” the -year-old influencer shared in the videos’ note section.
Lauren adds, “It’s so frustrating how different everyone’s skin is, but these are the active ingredients/routines that have and have NOT worked for me thus far!”
“Also let me know what your experience was with Accutane if you’ve given it a shot – I’m definitely considering it as an option.”
Not only does the digital creator and influencer turn 25 years old today, but she’s also ringing in the two-year anniversary of her move to Los Angeles!
“25 🎈,” she captioned a cute Instagram photo of herself posing against an orange backdrop and sticking her tongue out.
“I moved to LA 2 years ago hoping to meet some new friends that were nice, didn’t realize I’d be meeting some of the best people I’ll prob ever encounter ❤️😭,” she added along with a photo featuring all of her friends – including boyfriend Alex Wassabi – at a surprise party they threw her. “Love y’all and thank u for the best surprise party of my entire life.”
