The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers season two episode one is out now on Disney+, with new episodes debuting on Wednesdays.
In the new season, after winning back the Mighty Ducks team name last year, our squad-with-heart and their coach Alex Morrow (Graham) take to the road to attend an intense summer hockey institute in California run by charming yet hardcore former NHL player, Colin Cole (Duhamel).
It’s a place for kids to get excellent at hockey — without school to get in the way. As our Ducks try to survive in this super-competitive environment, they’re faced with the question: Can you win summer?
Lola Tung poses alongside author Jenny Han at The Press Lounge in New York City on Thursday (June 16).
Hosted by Phenomenal CEO & Founder Meena Harris, the cocktail party celebrated the launch of the pair’s new Prime Video series, The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Adapted from Jenny‘s book of the same name, the show centers on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.
The 25-year-old actress and the 26-year-old actor will co-star alongside each other in the movie adaptation of “Field Notes On Love,” Deadline reveals.
This will be a reunion for the two Disney stars, who previously acted opposite each other on the Disney Channel series Liv & Maddie.
Field Notes On Love is based off of the book of the same name by Jennifer E. Smith, who will co-write the script with The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers‘ Lauren Graham.
Here’s a synopsis: Hugo is dumped by his girlfriend before their long-planned romantic train trip across America. She leaves him with the tickets, which are nontransferable, booked under her name. Meanwhile, Mae is reeling from being rejected from USC’s film school. When she stumbles across Hugo’s ad for a replacement, she’s certain it’s exactly the adventure she needs to shake off her disappointment and jump-start her next film. A cross-country train trip with a complete stranger might not seem like the best idea. But to Mae and Hugo, both eager to escape their regular lives, it makes perfect sense. What starts as a convenient arrangement soon turns into something more. However, life outside the train catches up with the duo, and they must contend with not derailing their feelings for each other.

With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.
