The Lawson singer got down on one knee in the band’s new video for “Where My Love Goes” and asked his longtime girlfriend Joey McDowell to be his wife!
“I was so scared. We’ve done amazing gigs all over the world but it was a feeling I’ve never had,” Andy dished to The Sun. “I collapsed once I’d done it.”
Andy and his bandmates — Joel Peat, Adam Pitts and Ryan Fletcher — tricked Joey, a model and photographer, into thinking she would be taking pictures behind the scenes for the video.
Track names include: “Used To Be Us”, “We Are The Fire”, “Only Water”, “Lion’s Den”, “Love and War”, “Where My Love Goes”, and “Roads”. Pre-order for the album starts on May 20th.
Andy even had a fun tidbit to share about the upcoming “Where My Love Goes” video, which drops tonight!
The 22-year-old “Over and Over Again” singer announced the news on Twitter, but with the bad news, also came good news — Lawson will take his place!
“Bad news, I can’t perform @LittleMix #GetWeirdTour in Glasgow on Saturday � Good news though, I’ve asked @LawsonOfficial to take my place!!” he wrote.
Nathan added, “It’s just the one date I’ll miss and I’ll be in Newcastle tomorrow night as planned!”
Lawson are also pictured leaving the ITV Studios on Thursday morning (March 17).
“Turn up your radio. We are about to play our version of @zaynmalik Pillow Talk on @CapitalOfficial. We hope you like it!” the guys wrote just before their appearance.
“It’s a fun, upbeat song that we wrote actually quite a while ago actually and we’ve been holding onto the hook and the idea of where is the money,” Andy shared with CapitalFM. “Basically we wrote it when were were touring round in the back of a van and we were unsigned and sleeping on each others couches. We kept the ideated developed it into the studio and it turned into this big, pop anthem.”

And what about the video? Adam revealed that they’ve done one!
“We did a video for the track last week. We did it in Shoreditch,” he said. “It was really cool we had about 20 of our fans, we did a competition to win the chance to be in the video. We had about twenty of our mates as well so it was a really cool atmosphere and kinda like a party video, just having fun with not a lot of money, which is what the song is about.”
