The CW Debuts New 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 6 Trailer & Description - Watch Now!

The new trailer for the upcoming sixth season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has arrived!

The DC Comics show will be returning in just a few weeks, with a new cast member, and missing a couple.

In case you forgot, on and off screen couple Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford‘s characters, Ray and Nora, left the show in season five.

However, Shayan Sobhian (Behrad Tarazi) and Adam Tsekhman (Gary Green) were promoted to series regulars, and Lisseth Chavez joined the cast as Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz!

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which will premiere on Sunday, May 2nd, also stars Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heyood/Steel, Tala Ashe as Zari Tarazi, Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe, Matt Ryan as John Constantine and Olivia Swann as Astra Logue.

The CW Reveals Spring Premiere Dates For 'Legends of Tomorrow,' 'Republic of Sarah' & More!

The CW has just revealed some midseason premiere dates!

It was announced that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, In The Dark and Dynasty will all return with new seasons this May.

Legends will premiere it’s upcoming sixth season on Sunday, May 2nd, at 8pm ET/PT. Batwoman will be move back to 9pm.

Dynasty will be returning on Friday, May 7th, at 9pm ET/PT, following a new episode of Charmed in it’s new 8pm time slot on Fridays.

In The Dark season three premieres on Wednesday, June 9th at 9pm ET/PT.

New shows Kung Fu and The Republic of Sarah have also been given premiere dates.

Kung Fu will begin on Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm ET/PT, taking over for Riverdale, which will go on a pre-planned hiatus until July 7th.

The Republic of Sarah premieres on Monday, June 14th at 9pm ET/PT after a new episode of All American.

All episodes will of course be available to stream on The CW app the next day.

We are still waiting on the premiere date for the final season of Supergirl.

The CW Has Already Renewed 'Walker,' 'Riverdale' & 10 Other Shows!

The CW is issuing early renewals to many of it’s series!

The network just announced that 12 shows will be back for new seasons, according to Variety.

Among the early renewals include new show Walker, as well as Riverdale, The Flash, Legacies, Batwoman, Charmed, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Nancy Drew, Roswell, New Mexico, In The Dark, Dynasty, and All American.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Roswell, New Mexico, In The Dark and Dynasty have yet to premiere their new seasons on the network.

“Though we’re just a few weeks into the new season, we wanted to get a strategic head start on next season with these early renewals, which allows our production teams to start laying out story arcs and hiring staff, and at the same time, continues to provide us with a strong, stable schedule to build on for next season,” CW President Mark Pedowitz said in a statement.

“As The CW’s 2020-2021 season kicks into high gear, we are thrilled creatively with the direction of our first new shows out of the gate, Walker and Superman & Lois, that we wanted to order the additional episodes to complete their first seasons, and we are particularly pleased with the huge success of the launch of Walker, which debuted as our most watched series premiere in 5 years.”

The CW has also ordered five more episodes for Walker‘s current first season, and two more episodes of Superman & Lois, which premieres later this month.

Adam Tsekhman Gets Series Regular Boost On 'Legends of Tomorrow'

Adam Tsekhman will be fully starring in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

The actor has been portraying Gary Green in the Arrowverse series since season three, but has now been promoted to series regular for season six, EW confirms.

Adam‘s promotion means that his character will also become a full fledged Legend!

EW reports that “the Legends will learn ‘he’s also not the mild-mannered goofball that our team of superheroes have taken him for all these years,’ and “season six will explore Gary’s origin story. It’s even more bizarre than you would imagine…’”

Legends was supposed to start filming this week, but the show, among other CW series, had to temporary halt production. Find out why!

Lisseth Chavez Joins 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' As Esperanza 'Spooner' Cruz!

Lisseth Chavez is joining the crew on the Waverider!

It was just announced that the 31-year-old actress has been cast as Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s upcoming sixth season.

Here’s a character description: Tough and self-sufficient, Spooner Cruz lives off the grid, devising ingenious tech for the detection of—and defense against—space aliens. And while some might call her paranoid, she calls it being prepared.

A survivor of a childhood alien encounter, Spooner now believes she has the ability to communicate telepathically with aliens—making her the perfect recruit for Waverider captains Sara Lance, Ava Sharpe and the Legends who, in season six, will be hunting down extraterrestrials who have been displaced throughout history.

“HELLOOOOO LEGENDS! Looks like I’ll be joining the DC Universe 🙌🏽so many changes this year, feeling grateful for this opportunity. I cant wait for you all to meet Esperanza aka SPOONER. Lisseth has left her role on Chicago PD as Officer Vanessa Rojas to join the Legends. You may also recognize her from her roles on The Fosters and The OA.

Supergirl, The Flash & More Wear Masks On New DC Universe Character Posters

The CW superheroes are wearing masks on these new character posters promoting their returns in 2021!

All of the DC Universe/Arrowverse shows will be heading back into production in the near future to allow for them to premiere in January of next year.

Heroes you can see wearing masks include Supergirl, The Flash, Superman, Black Lightning, Stargirl, White Canary and Beebo.

Just last month, it was announced that Stargirl will get a second season, and move straight to The CW.

It was also revealed this summer that the only crossover event this year will be between Superman & Lois and Batwoman, which will be Javicia Leslie‘s first crossover as the new Batwoman.

Supergirl‘s upcoming season will also be pushed back due to star Melissa Benoist‘s pregnancy!

Shayan Sobhian Promoted To Series Regular on 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow'

Get ready to see a lot more of Shayan Sobhian!

The actor has been recurring as Behrad Tarazi in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but he was just promoted to series regular for the upcoming sixth season.

“My never-ending gratitude to my family, partner, friends, teachers, manager, agent, and above all, Bahá’u’lláh, Glory of God, for supporting and guiding me on my quest as an actor.
Thank you to everyone at @cw_legendsoftomorrow for having me back as a series regular. I am so excited to further explore Behrad in season 6 and continue working with such an incredible cast, crew, and creative team,” he shared on Instagram.

“To all fans, thank you for your warm welcome from the grip. Being on the Waverider has truly been the most intense experience of my life and I feel so lucky to share this journey with you.
