The 21-year-old actress posted a hilarious birthday tribute to her former Kickin’ It co-star on Instagram this weekend.
“It’s officially been a decade since I’ve known this buttface,” Olivia wrote along with a cute clip and picture of her and Leo. “And we’ve already lived the most insane journey together. Full of belly laughs, adventures, good times, sh*tty times, name calling (buttface is still just an instant fave), and so much more. Here’s to one of the most special friendships I’ve ever known. Happy 22 you treasure.”
Leo turned 22 on Saturday (July 13).
The pair have been friends since 2011, when they went to work on their Disney XD hit, Kickin’ It!
In season two, the Kent High School students are still trapped inside by the deadly explosion and will find their relationships tested when a new group of survivors arrives.
Friendships will be lost, enemies made, and ventures outside into the dangerous unknown will present life and death stakes for the students.
Leo Howard, Troy Romzek, and Ricky Ficarelli just dropped their new single, “Stings” and it NEEDS to be on your playlist now.
“‘Stings’ was the natural progression for a follow-up single, as well as a tune we’ve really grown to love playing together as a band,” the guys told JJJ exclusively about the track. “This song was also the first we ever wrote together.”
The trio opened up about how the new song came together and how they all collaborated on it.
“It all started with that intro riff, which Leo came in with initially. It painted such a sorrowful picture we couldn’t help but write about losing something, or someone. We believe anyone could draw from experience on that circumstance.”
They added, “With the tone & emotion of the song, we aim to strike a deeper chord with people. We wanted to show everyone as much as we love to rock, this band has dynamics.”
Raise your hand if you didn’t know that Leo Howard is a super talented musician.
Yea, us too…and we definitely regret not knowing that at all because the stuff we’ve heard from his band Ask Jonsey & Company is insanely good!
Ask Jonesy & Company is a new rock ‘n’ roll act, fronted by Troy Romzek (lead vocals/guitar), Leo (lead guitar/vocals) and Ricky Ficarelli (bass/vocals); and they’re aiming to create an authentically huge sound that drops all boundaries.
Leo actually announced that the band will be dropping their debut music video this week and JJJ can’t wait.
Let’s get real here — you probably still can’t get Olivia Holt‘s “History” out of your head.
It’s okay, neither can we — and that’s a good thing!
Olivia, who hit the Freeform Upfronts tonight in support of her new show Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, stopped by Music Choice earlier in the week and opened up about her music.
“I was really lucky that when I texted [Leo Howard], five seconds later he said ‘I’m there’,” Olivia shares. “He showed up and was super stoked and really excited about it.”
