Good news for those of you who miss Liv and Maddie with every fiber of your being! (Yes, that definitely includes us.)
Nickelodeon’s new series Knight Squad has officially started filming.
“So, here’s some huge news … filming for #KnightSquad began yesterday!!!” the shows’ account tweeted. “Been waiting for this and I’m now sooo excited!!!”
So are we! The account also tweeted some familiar faces who we will get to see in the series, including Lilimar, Owen Joyner, Daniella Perkins, Amarr M. Wooten, Lexi DiBenedetto, and Kelly Perine.
Knight Squad is about a magical school for knights in training, where two mismatched students form an unlikely alliance to protect each other’s secret and pursue their dreams. It’s also brought to us by the Liv and Maddie showrunners, so it’s sure to be good.

The two actresses joined Casey Simpson and AJ Luis Rivera Jr at the event, along with Knight Squad‘s Lilimar, Lexi DiBenedetto and Amarr M. Wooten.
Henry Danger‘s Riele Downs also stepped out for the premiere.
The plot circles a gamemaker, Mr. Lemoncello, who builds a magical library full of fantastical worlds. A chosen group of kids have to complete riddles and solve clues to escape the library, and things quickly turn from wonderful to chaotic as the book worlds spirals out of control.
Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library premieres October 9th @ 7pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

Lilimar hits the orange carpet with her brand new cast at the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 13).
The actress was joined by her Knight Squad co-stars Lexi DiBenedetto, Amarr M. Wooten and Kelly Perine.
