Carlos PenaVega just landed a huge new TV role!
The 27-year-old Grease: Live star has been cast as a series regular opposite Lucy Hale in the CW pilot Life Sentence, according to Deadline.
Life Sentence “centers on Stella (Hale), a young woman diagnosed with terminal cancer. When she finds out that she’s not dying after all, she has to learn to live with the choices she made when she decided to ‘live like she was dying.’”
Carlos is set to play Darrius, Lucy‘s brother-in-law, who is “extremely positive” and “family loving.”

The 27-year-old actress is set to star in the upcoming CW dramedy pilot Life Sentence, according to EW.
This will be Lucy‘s first post-Pretty Little Liars television role.
The show follows “a young woman who thought she had terminal cancer and decided to live it up as if she only had a short period of time left before she perished� then she learns she isn’t actually sick at all – and now has to live with all the choices she made during a spree when she was ‘living like she was dying.’”
Pretty Little Liars‘ final season begins airing this April.
