Not to hit everyone with major nostalgia and feelings today, but we have to share this Liv and Maddie cuteness!
You know the actresses who played Dove Cameron‘s doubles in the show — Emmy Buckner and Shelby Wulfert? Well, Shelby is going to be Emmy‘s bridesmaid at her wedding to Max Chucker and we have so many feelings right now about that!
Emmy shared a really cute pic of her with Shelby on her Instagram today and JJJ is complete goo over it because it references the show!
“Sisters by chance, Bridesmaid by choice,” Emmy captioned the shot. See, you’re melting too, aren’t you?
It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since Liv and Maddie wrapped. Dove Cameron, who rose to fame playing both Liv AND Maddie on the show, took to Twitter this afternoon to express her emotions on the bittersweet anniversary.
“one year ago today, #LivAndMaddie wrapped filming of its final episode,” her tweet reads, “thank you to the fans, you changed my life forever. i love you.”
Based on the rapid-fire responses to her tweet, it is safe to say that the feeling is entirely mutual.
“You changed my life,” one fan wrote.
“The half I’ll always need,” another wrote, quoting the show’s theme song.
*adopts Liv voice* Awwwwwww. If you want even more feels, watch Dove sing “Better in Stereo” with fans here.

We haven’t heard former Liv & Maddie star Dove Cameron use her angelic vocals on “Better in Stereo” (the show’s theme song) since the show ended three months ago — until now, that is!
The 21-year-old Descendants 2 actress sang the song with two of her die-hard fans, Matt and Parisa, as part of her work with Make-a-Wish America, and the video is totally adorable.
“My job brings a lot of beauty into my life,” Dove writes in her Instagram caption, “but none ever quite as beautiful as moments like these. thank you matt & parisa for adding to the deep quality & light in my life, you and your spirit will never leave me.”
We think it’s amazing that Dove has such a close relationship with her fans, from getting fries and manicures with one lucky group that she ran into on the street to participating in causes like Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Ryan McCartan is hitting us right in all the feelings right now.
In his recent “Me Monday” video, the actor opened up on just how Liv and Maddie impacted his life and how much it all meant to him.
He explains that he once had two auditions for dream roles on Broadway, but they both didn’t work out and that’s exactly when the show came in and saved him.
“I was thinking life is not fair. And then the next I got an audition for a silly little role on a silly new TV show…
“So I go in and audition and I’m like, ‘this role is actually kind of fun.’ They called me back, and then they called me back again and then I had a screen test with the girl who was playing both roles and who at the time was a total unknown. And I went and did the screen test. And they cast me,” he says.
Ryan continues, “If I went Broadway and didn’t book that role [of Diggie], I never would’ve met someone who changed my entire life. If I would’ve booked the Broadway role and not that role, I never would’ve met the guy who ended up casting me in Heathers: The Musical.
“And Heathers LA is where a man named Kenny Ortega who saw me and said my performance was something he would never forget and a year later, he cast me in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, one of the best experiences of my entire life.”
Moral of the story: Everything happens for a reason!
We talked with the Liv and Maddie star (he plays Holden) about who he keeps in contact with the most from the show, and his answers will make you so nostalgic.
“Dove [Cameron] and Ben King,” he tells us, then adding: “Dove and the dad. He’s become like a big brother to me, and I love his wife and his daughters a lot.”
As for Dove? “Dove and I were friends before Liv and Maddie,” he explains. “We go way back. We go back over five years now, and I just adore her.”
Dovecancelled her flight back in December to watch Jordan perform in Hamilton, so it’s safe to say the feeling is mutual!
We talked with Liv & Maddie star Jordan Fisher now that the show has wrapped, and of course, we had to ask him if he thought Holden and Liv made their way back to one another.
“I fully believe that,” Jordan said. “I am a Lolden shipper through and through.”
He then elaborated, explaining that even though we don’t see Liv and Holden ending up together on the show, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
“Leaving things up to the imagination can sometimes be the best way to end stories that you don’t necessarily want to end,” he explained. “It’s the Ross-and-Rachel thing. If she didn’t get off the plane and they didn’t show they got together in that final episode, I would’ve just imagine they got together and lived happily ever after. You know?”
*breathes enormous sigh of relief*
Jordan also confirmed that he considers himself a romantic (and, likeCamila Cabello, now we know that he’s a Ross-and-Rachel shipper.)
Here’s hoping we get a Liv & Maddie revival someday so we can watch Liv and Holden reunite on-screen!
