Louis Tomlinson has released yet another song from his upcoming album Walls and this time it’s a touching ballad called “Don’t Let It Break Your Heart.”
The 27-year-old singer is one of the co-writers on the new track!
The song is the third part of the story that ran through Louis‘s recent “Kill My Mind” and “We Made It” videos.
“Don’t Let It Break Your Heart is a song I’m really proud of. It’s a song about hope and seeing the glass as half full,” Louis said in a statement.

Earlier in the week, Louis reunited with another 1D member, Niall Horan, in Mexico, and sent fans in a frenzy when they sang “Little Black Dress” together at soundcheck for a concert event.
The two guys are set to hit the stage to perform their solo music at 2019 Premios Telehit in Mexico TONIGHT (November 13), but were spotted doing a soundcheck of 1D‘s “Little Black Dress” together.
Fans are going crazy on social media, sharing the video of the guys singing together and expressing their excitement and some not thrilled that Harry Styles and Liam Payne are not there as well.
“Louis and Niall sound checking Little Black Dress together is everything I never knew I needed in life,” one Twitter user wrote.
“if louis and niall do perform a song together, that will be the biggest flex of the century. they had the least singing parts of all the other boys in one direction and were ALWAYS underestimated. but for them to perform together? in all their success? please please please,” another fan wrote.

Louis Tomlinson sits down for a chat on The Late Late Show with James Corden in New York City on Monday night (October 28).
Ahead of performing his new single, “We Made It”, the 27-year-old musician opened up about his collection of movie props and how he once got kicked out of a band before even realizing it.
“I really loved this band. It was my first moment of really singing and performing,” Louis recalls. “Then, we did this thing in England where basically I had to talk about someting that I really loved and I was going to get judged on.”
He continues, “I did this whole speech about how much I loved being in this band, and this one kid asked me a question that I can’t recall, but it ended with me realizing that I had just been kicked out of that band. I didn’t even know about it.”
“I think it was because of the lead guitarist who was a bit jealous and wanted all the glory for himself,” Louis adds. “I had the last laugh though.”

Louis Tomlinson stopped by Build Series last week in New York City and opened up about all his upcoming music and album, plus how One Direction‘s split affected him.
“I just wasn’t ready for the band to go on a break, to be honest,” the 27-year-old musician admitted during his appearance. “It surprised me to a certain degree, so I didn’t have any plan in place or anything like that.”
Louis continues, “I think I just thought that I was going to carry on writing for other people, but not necessarily for myself. Then you know, like I’m sure a lot of people in this situation, I did a bit of writing and I liked some of the songs I was writing. I thought, ‘Yeah, might as well have a crack with this.’”
He also talked about his new music and why it took him a long time to find his sound.
“I spent a long time trying to find exactly what my sound was. It took me a good year, 18 months,” Louis says. “To be fair, when I first went out on my own I wasn’t even sure that I was definitely going to make a solo record.”
Thankfully, it turned out that way: “One thing led to another and I kind of actually had to learn on the job who I am, really, as an artist. Because I’d only really looked at myself as a little lad in a band. So all of a sudden I had to look at myself as an artist, as an individual. So that took a little bit of time.”
While promoting his new single, “We Made It”, and his upcoming album and tour with Dan Woottonon his podcast, the 27-year-old musician got candid about still being upset about Zayn Malik being a no-show to his performance on The X Factor right after losing his mother.
“I had a couple of calls with him after I lost my mum,” Louis explained. “All the boys had agreed to come to that performance and he didn’t show so that really bugged me. It was just seeing everyone there – Harry, Niall and Liam – that was what I needed that night, that support.”
Louis added that one day he might be okay with Zayn again, but just not today.
“I just don’t think I am mature enough, even in my own head, to give that a real answer,” he added about forgiving Zayn. “At the moment, I am still pretty mad about the whole thing. I don’t think [Zayn] handled it very well. But never say never. Who knows? He chatted a lot of s**t in the early days. I thought One Direction [was] pretty good.”
Louis Tomlinson gives a little thumbs up during his performance on SiriusXM Hits 1 at the SiriusXM Studios on Thursday (October 24) in New York City.
The 27-year-old musician is having a big week this week – dropping a new single, “We Made It”, plus tour dates and announcing his debut album release date.
“It kind of has two meanings. The verses are written about the early times of me and my girlfriend, me going to visit her at university and stuff. But the sentiment of the chorus is a message that is something I know I’m going to feel on my first tour dates, for example,” Louis shared with Billboard.
He continues, “That feeling of achievement — I want it to feel collective, because the fans have been really patient with me. I’ve gone through a bit, and they were super supportive. It was kind of just a message to them, really.”
