“I’m going to have a bit of a Christmas in L.A. with my boy, and then I’m going to go back up to Doncaster, where I’m from, and spend it with my grandparents, my sisters, my brother. It’ll be nice,” Louis told Z100.
As for holiday traditions, Louis and his fam have a food they eat each year!
“Pigs in blankets! We have them on Christmas day. Very good!” Louis explained.
We hope Louis enjoys his well-deserved break with his family!
The two pals and future tour mates both performed at the show later on in the night. Niall actually took a break from Saturday Night Live rehearsals for the show.
Niall‘s former bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, is also pictured below, performing at the z100 All Access Lounge presented by Poland Spring Pre-Show at Pier 36 earlier in the day.

“I speak to Louis a lot and he’s had obviously had a crazy few years, more so than anyone, a very sad few years for him actually, but he’s doing amazing,” Liam shared. “It’s transformed him into the most beautiful human being ever. I love spending time with him and it’s nice to reach out to someone who has been through that same experience.”
Liam adds that just by talking to Louis has helped him with his stuggles.
“I think for anybody out there who’s having a problem with mental health or something and that struggle, the best thing is to just go and speak to someone,” he says. “If you go through it by yourself, you’re your own soundboard. And we’re all just as crazy as the next person. You need someone to validate your experience almost.”
Louis Tomlinson is opening up in a brand new interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1 about his upcoming solo project.
Speaking about the pressure to put out his own album, the 27-year-old musician revealed if Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik‘s solo endeavors had an impact on his own at all.
“I don’t think that would’ve had an overall effect on my decision,” he says. “The reason I bit the bullet and am going to do this is [that] I didn’t want any regrets.”
Louis adds, “I had an incredible opportunity being in the band and an incredible fan base that had…I didn’t want to look back and think, ‘Oh, I wonder what I would’ve done on my own’.”
“‘Don’t Let It Break Your Heart’ is a song I’m really proud of. It’s a song about hope and seeing the glass as half full,” Louis recently shared of the track.
The song will be part of Louis‘ debut album, Walls, out on January 31st, 2020.
