Mackenzie Foy has landed the lead role in Disney’s upcoming The Nutcracker movie, Variety reveals.
The 15-year-old actress, who you know from The Twilight Series: Breaking Dawn, will join Misty Copeland for the live action movie as Clara.
The film will be based on E.T.A. Hoffman‘s Christmas Eve tale about a young girl who finds a Nutcracker doll with her family’s presents and is given the responsibility to take care it. At night, the Nutcracker comes to life, along with an evil Mouse King who introduce the little girl to the magical world of toys.

The 15-year-old actress stars in the upcoming feature and was joined at the opening night festivities by co-star Jeff Bridges and director Mark Osborne.
