The 14-year-old singer and influencer opens up in the issue about making friends in the industry, her Total Eclipse role and more.
“I’m a very outgoing person. Social media definitely helps with that because I can DM or Snapchat them,” Kenzie says about the unconventional ways she does make friends because she’s not in a school setting.
She adds that “most of the time I meet kids at events, then I get their social medias and talk to them on there. We have a very small circle. It’s really cool that they understand what I’m going through because they’re in the same situation.”

It was announced this week that the 14-year-old singer and entertainer would be starring in The Wonderful Winter of Oz at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, as Dorothy Gale!
The limited engagement will run from December 15th through December 30th and also star Phil LaMarr as The Tin Man, Jared Gertner as The Scarecrow, and Hailee Payne and Valerie Rockey of So You Think You Can Dance, plus Kermit The Frog as the Wizard of Oz and Marissa Jaret Winokur as Glinda.
The Wonderful Winter of Oz is a Holiday version of America’s favorite modern fairy tale, in the style of a traditional British Family Panto. On Christmas Eve, Dorothy gets swept away by a ‘freak’ Kansas blizzard and lands in a world of munchkins and witches.
With songs from Journey to Wham!, The Wonderful Winter of Oz is the perfect family experience at the Holiday time. No rainbows will be hurt in this production.
You can pick up tickets, staring at $40, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, online at www.thepasadenacivic.com or by calling 626-449-7362.
Golden Tickets, which allow the ticket holder (children ages 4 – 12 only) a special on-stage experience during the production, are available for an additional $75 each.
