It’s a big night for Camila Cabello – she just walked her first red carpet as an actress!
The 24-year-old singer looked amazing while attending the premiere of her new Amazon movie musical Cinderella on Monday (August 30) at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
It was just announced that the 24-year-old singer’s upcoming movie Cinderella has been acquired by Amazon Studios, Deadlinereveals.
This is Camila‘s feature film debut, where she was also integral in the music aspect of the movie. Cinderella will feature pop songs from contemporary artists as well as original music from Camila.
Earlier this year, it was announced that the movie will be coming to theaters on July 16th, but with it moving to Prime, it’s uncertain if that date will remain the same. Stay tuned for more details!

The 23-year-old singer is set to star as the iconic princess in a new, music driven film.
Cinderella was originally slated to be released on February 5th, but after the pandemic delayed production, and theaters are still not open, Sony has moved the date.
“Your invitation awaits. ✨ #CinderellaMovie comes to theaters July 2021. 👑,” the movie’s official Instagram wrote.
The new release date is set for July 16th. Sony also moved the dates for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, from June 11th to November 11th, and Tom Holland‘s Uncharted, from July 16th to February 11, 2022.

Camila Cabello is gushing over one of her Cinderella co-stars!
The 23-year-old singer-turned-actress reposted Maddie Baillio‘s Instagram story and shared her own note.
“@maddiebaillio love you and Charlotte so much! can’t wait for people to see you shine in this film! #Cinderella babyyyyy” Camilawrote.
Maddie‘s original post said, “You’re not crying I’m crying. That’s a wrap. I already miss everyone. We went thru so much this year. Let’s do a sequel.”
The day before, the film’s director Kay Cannon shared a photo with Camila and Idina Menzel, who plays the stepmother, and dished there’s no villains in this version.

Hairspray Live aired on NBC on December 7, 2016. It brought in 9.05 million viewers, with a ratings share of 2.3 in the 18–49 demographic, and a 5.9 overnight household rating.
