Megan and Liz sing to a crowd from the Radio Disney Country Stage during the 2016 CMA Music Festival on Thursday (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.

The two “Big Kids” singers performed a full set at the event after attending the 2016 CMT Music Awards just the night before.

Maddie and Tae, as well as Maren Morris, were also spotted performing at the annual fan festival.

Maren, 26, even performed a duet with Rascal Flatts on the Nissan Stadium.

If you’ve heard Maddie & Tae‘s “Sierra”, you know it’s just about the best getting-back-at-a-bully song ever.

The country duo spoke with Billboard earlier this month about the girl who inspired the track.

“Sierra was this real girl who was just not nice. She was very belittling to myself and many other people,” Maddie Marlow shared. “Everyone was kind of scared to stand up to her. She was that person that was so beautiful, and you know, everyone just kind of bowed down to her.”

Maddie and Sierra were once friends, but during high school, the hierarchy took over. “She had gotten all these girls to gang up against me, and so I went home crying that Friday,” Maddie remembered.

Taylor Dye added, “Maddie and I had been talking about Sierra for maybe like a year, and he knew of her. So when it was finally time for us to write the song, he [Aaron Scherz] and me were just like, ‘OK, let’s do this. Let’s help Maddie heal.’”

“I was really scared, honestly, to release it because it’s basically airing your dirty laundry,” Maddie added. “It’s a very vulnerable song for me, and a very personal song, and I was really nervous about it.”

“Sierra” is out on iTunes now.

The country duo were up for the honor along with Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay and RaeLynn, who’s also pictured below with her new husband, Joshua Davis.

Maddie & Tae also won favorite country artist!

Daya, who was up for The Freshest � Best New Artist, also hit the carpet for the show.

The 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards will air on Sunday, May 1st @ 7PM ET/PT on Disney Channel!

Maddie and Tae rock the red carpet with fun style at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Saturday (April 30) in Los Angeles.

The country duo, who are up for Radio Disney Country Favorite Artist, were joined by presenters and Nashville stars Lennon and Maisy.

The 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards will air on Sunday, May 1st @ 7PM ET/PT on Disney Channel!

The country duo joined Maren Morris, Florida Georgia Line, EmmyLou Harris and more for the annual show.

If you missed it, Maddie & Tae just teamed up with Bloomingdale’s for a capsule collection with AQUA.

“Obviously we’re not the kind of girls who’re obsessed with clothes and make-up,” Tae shared about the collab. “But we want to look good! We have ideas about style and think your clothes can be cool without obsessing about it. That’s why we love everything about AQUA.”

Maddie added, “When you look good, you feel great. You just do. We don’t want our clothes to wear us� But we do want to wear clothes that say who we are. Working with the AQUA team, I think these clothes are going to be something real young women everywhere are going to want to wear, which is crazy! But it’s also everything we’ve been about since Tae and I started making music.”

The girls — Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye — hit the stage for a fun performance alongside Lauren Alaina and Kelsea Ballerini.

“When we started trying to develop our message, we wanted authenticity,” Tae shared with Teen Vogue, speaking about being a woman in country music today. “We want people to listen to our music and whatever the song may be about, we want them to know that we relate to the song in some way. At the end of the day we’re all experiencing the same emotions, whether you’re a 12-year-old girl or a 40-year-old woman.”

Maddie added, “I don’t think we knew how deeply we can connect through one song. There’s something so precious and powerful about that that we don’t take for granted. There are those songs that hit you in the gut – when you’re the one performing it and you see the effect it has on people, there’s something so powerful in that.”
