Mae Whitman got support from her on-screen supportive mom Lauren Graham at the opening of her play The Mystery of Love and Sex on Sunday (February 21) at Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old actress reunited with her Parenthood co-stars Lauren, 48, and her partner Peter Krause, 50, more than a year after the show’s 2015 wrap.
Mae posted a photo with her co-stars on her Instagram and wrote, “We bravermans gotta stick together #themysteryofloveandsex #supportivefamily #extremelylucky.”
Lauren reposted the photo on Twitter, writing, “@maebirdwing was a STAR last night… Bravo all!”

In case you didn’t know, season six of Parenthood is now on Netflix (best show ever, right?) and Mae had the best reaction to a fan letting her know.
“Hey it looks like season six of parenthood is on Netflix! That’s cool parenthood is a good show,” she wrote on Twitter.

According to THR, Mae Whitman is teaming up with her former on-screen mom Lauren Graham to adapt Jessica Morgan and Heather Cocks‘ book, The Royal We, for CBS Films.
Lauren is set to write the script, while Mae will likely star in the movie! Both will serve as producers on the project.
The book “takes its cues from the real-life courtship of Kate Middleton and Prince William,” and follows an “American girl-next-door who moves to England to study at Oxford and falls in love with a fellow student, who happens to be the future King of England.”

Julianne Hough and her brother Derek step out on the carpet for 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday evening (September 12) at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

“I actually do have my fingers crossed for Mae Whitman, who does the voice of Tinkerbell! I have been watching Tinkerbell ever since I was tiny,” Eva, who voices Shimmer in the show, shared.
