Peta Murgatroyd leans into husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy during the Morgan Clifford NYFW Kick Off Dinner held at Jue Lan Club in New York City on Wednesday night (September 5).
The pro dancing couple were joined at the dinner by former Melissa & Joey actress Taylor Spreitler.

The next day (September 6), Peta was spotted at the Tadashi Shoji show at Gallery I at Spring Studios, alongside Insatiable stars Erinn Westbrook and Chloe Bridges.
If you missed it, Peta and Maks will not be returning as pros this season on Dancing With the Stars.

Here’s something you likely didn’t know about Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd – they got married days before everyone thought they did!
The longtime couple, most known for their work on Dancing With the Stars, opened up about their secret wedding in Instagram posts on their anniversary.
“Before we did it in front of 300🤵🏻👰🏼,” Maks wrote. “This was one of the most exciting days of my life! Everything felt very festive, I couldn’t take my eyes off my future wife the whole ride to the City Hall and it was is if New York City herself was marrying us.”
“I can’t believe it’s been a year. I still can’t believe you chose me. I can’t believe I get to live this dream with you by my side for the rest of my life and I promise to earn every second of your love,” he added. “I love you @petamurgatroyd ❤️ Happy anniversary baby.”
Peta added, “Today I married the man I fell in love with so many years ago. I knew he was the one. There was something so electric between us that people will still tell me about to this day. I love you @maksimc, this has been an incredible, outrageous year for us! I pray we are this happy for the rest of our lives. You’re everything I knew you were.”

“If I can figure out how to cook something better and surprise her with a meal, that’s some points,” Maks shared. “The problem with time [is] you get to know each other so well, there’s no more room for surprises, [but] you look back and say, ‘This has been the best decision I’ve ever made in my life’, because of these days when there’s no more room for surprises, and it’s still the only person you want to be with.”
He adds, “I’m excited that we get to share the same life. I think that’s another key to our success as a couple — this is my partner, you know what I mean?”
“It’s easy for us to relate to one another.”
