It looks like Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is slowly moving forward as they have just cast the roles of Violet and Klaus!
Malina Weissman, from CBS’ Supergirl, and newcomer Louis Hynes will take on the roles of the Baudelaire children in the show adapted from the famous book series.
Neil Patrick Harris is currently in negotiations to play the villainous Count Olaf. You may remember the book series was originally adapted into a movie back in 2004 starring 2004 movie starring Emily Browning, Liam Aiken, and Jim Carrey.
No release date for the series has been set.

According to THR, the younger version of the 26-year-old actress’ character Kara Zor-El has just been cast. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress Malina Weissman landed the role.
SuperGirl centers on Superman’s cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. After arriving on Earth, Kara was taken in by a foster family, the Danvers, who taught her to be careful with her extraordinary powers (which she shares with her famous cousin).
Former Supergirl Helen Slater and ex-Superman Dean Cain will also guest-star.
