Jaden Smith is ready to speak out about some important environmental issues.
It was just announced that the 18-year-old musician will be taking the stage at the Environmental Media Association’s first ever IMPACT Summit, which aims to promote positive change in the environment.
Jaden will be discussing JUST Water, an organization he helped found which sells “responsibly sourced” spring water in eco-friendly bottles that are paper and plant plastic based.
Last October, Jaden was awarded the Male EMA Futures Award for his environmental work.

Jaden Smith hangs out with Mateo Arias while out on Friday (September 2) in Calabasas, Calif.
The two longtime friends grabbed a bite to eat at Sugarfish before heading about their day.
In his recent interview for Interview mag, Jaden opened up about his parents — Will and Jada Pinkett Smith — being his biggest role models.
“My parents are definitely my biggest role models. And that’s where me and Willow both pull all of our inspiration from to change the world,” he shared.
Jaden added, “It all comes from a concept of affecting the world in a positive way and leaving it better than it was than when we came. I feel like that enters into all types of different areas because there are so many different outlets that life has to offer for us. That goes into technology, into music. That goes into science, into spirituality, into education.”

Earlier in the week, Harry looked back at being in the hospital three years ago during his battle with cancer.
“3 Years ago today I was told that I may have several months to live,” Harry said on Instagram. “3 years later I am blessed to continue to say that I am cancer free! You never know how short life is until it flashes before your eyes. You’ll never find your purpose if you don’t go out and seek it. We are all on this earth for a reason. I stopped complaining and worrying about the little things 3 years ago, nothing truly matters except your family, your friends, and what you love to do. Jaden Smith goes camo in his red, white, and green jacket while stepping out for lunch on Wednesday (September 2) in Calabasas, Calif.
The 17-year-old rapper and actor, who was joined by his friend Mateo Arias, was seen wearing the same jacket that he wore to the VMAs earlier in the week.
Jaden of course went viral after he saluted Kanye West following the rapper’s announcement that he will be running for president in 2020.
